All major automakers are posting July sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.

Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,063 units, down 9.5% compared to July of 2015 when Nissan sold 1,174 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year-to-date results in 2016, sales of the Nissan LEAF now stand at 6,856, which is down by 37.6% compared with 2015 when 10,0 were sold. Nissan introduced the 2016 all-electric LEAF with an available 30 kWh battery that provides an EPA-estimated range of 107 miles – a 27-percent increase over the previous 24 kWH battery.
Chevy Volt had its best July and year to date performances ever. 2016 Chevrolet Volt sold 2,406 units last month, up 83.2 percent compared to July of 2015 when Chevy sold 1,313 Volts. Overall for the year, 12,214 Chevrolet Volt plug-ins have been sold, which is up by 76.1% compared to 2015 when 6,935 units were sold. Chevrolet Volt sales surpassed 100,000 units in the United States in late July.

Prius Plug-in Hybrid sold just 4 units last month. Previously in June, May, April, March and February, Toyota sold 11, 4, 4, 7 and 6 Prius Plug-ins respectively. Last year, sales of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid were at 4,191. The next generation Prius Prime PHV will come in the second half of 2016 as a 2017 model car.

Ford C-MAX Energi sold 755 units in July. Previously in June, Ford sold 630 C-MAX Energi plug-ins. Overall for the year, 3,980 C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrids have been sold.

Ford Fusion Energi finished last month with 1,341 deliveries, after selling 1700 in June and 1,453 in May. In terms of year-to-date results in 2016, sales of the Ford Fusion Energi now stand at 8,576.
|Cadillac ELR |
GM sold 15 Cadillac ELRs last month. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the Cadillac ELR now stand at 511, which is down by 22.5% compared with 2015 when 569 were sold. General Motors has pulled the plug on the Cadillac ELR after years of dismal sales. Cadillac only managed to sell 1,354 units of the ELR in 2014, while only 1,024 were delivered during last year.

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrids finished last month with 21 deliveries. Previously in June and May, Panamera S E-Hybrid sold 22 and 26 units respectively. Overall for the year, 177 Panamera S E-Hybrids have been sold.

Porsche sold 148 Cayenne S E-Hybrid SUVs last month, after selling 176 units in June. In terms of year-to-date results in 2016, sales of the Cayenne S E-Hybrids now stand at 1,314.

Tesla Motors delivered 9,764 Model S vehicles, according to Q8 results.

The Tesla Model X is priced as high as $144,000. Tesla delivered 4,638 Model X vehicles in the Q1 of 2016.

BMW i3 sold 1,479 units last month, after selling 608 units in June. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the BMW i3 now stand at 4,359. Last year, 11,024 BMW i3 EVs have been sold.

BMW i8 sold 166 plug-in hybrid sports cars last month. BMW sold 169 units in June and 146 in May. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the BMW i8 now stand at 786. Last year, 2,265 BMW i8 sports cars have been sold. The BMW i8 has an MSRP of $135,700
|BMW X5 xDrive40e|
The BMW X5 xDrive40e sold 649 units, after selling 583 plug-in SUVs in June and 500 in May. Overall for the year, 3,226 BMW X5 xDrive40e SUVs have been sold. With a total system output of 230 kW/313 hp generated by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine and a synchronous electric motor, the BMW X5 xDrive40e achieves a combined fuel consumption of 69 – 71 mpg.
|Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive |
Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive finished last month with 50 deliveries, after selling 44 units in June and 49 units in May. The B-Class Electric Drive starts from $41,450 and has an all-electric range of 87 miles. For an extra $600, one can purchase the extended range package which allows the driver go 104 miles. Overall for the year, 360 B-Class Electric Drive have been sold.
|Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid|
Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid sold 1 unit last month. Overall for the year, 46 S550 Plug-in Hybrids have been sold. The S550 Plug-in Hybrid offers a system output of 436 hp and 479 lb-ft torque, sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.2 seconds and can drive up to 20 miles purely electrically.

Volkswagen e-Gold sold 344 units last month, after selling 248 in June. Overall for the year, 1,799 Volkswagen e-Golfs have been sold.
|Audi A3 Sportback e-tron|
Audi A3 Sportback e-tron sold 349 units during the month, after selling 353 units in June. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the A3 Sportback e-tron now stand at 2,291. The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is priced at $37,900, and purchasing customers may qualify for applicable state and federal incentives and tax credits.
|Volvo XC90 T8 PHEV|
Volvo XC90 PHEV sold 178 units during the month, after selling 166 units in June and 110 units in May. Overall for the year, 1,184 XC90 PHEV SUVs have been sold. The MSRP of the Volvo XC90 T8 PHEV is $68,100 before incentives. Powered by Volvo’s 2.0 liter supercharged and turbocharged Drive-E engine and a rear axle electric motor, the XC90 T8 Twin Engine can achieve 394 horsepower and 0-60 MPH in just 5.7 seconds. The high-voltage battery pack is good for 17 miles of all-electric driving
The all-new BMW 330e sold 81 units during the month, after selling 16 units in June and 67 units in May. Overall for the year, 218 BMW 330e plug-in hybrids have been sold. The 2016 BMW 330e is priced at $44,695 including $995 destination & handling.
|Hyundai Sonata PHEV|
Hyundai Sonata plug-in hybrid sold 375 units during the month. Previously in June, Sonata PHEV sold 225 units. Overall for the year, 1,735 Sonata plug-in hybrids have been sold, Hyundai Sonata PHEV is priced from $34,600 before incentives.
|Kia Soul EV |
Kia Soul EV sold 179 units last month, after selling 134 units in June. Overall for the year, 792 Soul EVs have been sold. Offered in two trims, Base and + (Plus), the 2015 Kia Soul EV MSRP is $33,700 (not including federal tax rebate of $7,500) for the Base trim.
|Mercedes-Benz GLE 550e|
Mercedes-Benz GLE 550e sold 30 units in its second month on the market. Previously in June, the GLE 550e sold 19 units. GLE 550e is equipped with V6 gas engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission, combined with an electric motor for total system power of 436 hp, 479 ft lbs of torque. The 8.8 kWh battery pack stores enough juice to travel up to 30 km (19 miles) on electric power.

For May, Fiat 500e sold 425 units last month, after selling 480 units in June. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the Fiat 500e now stand at 2,645.
|Chevrolet Spark EV|
Spark EV sold 333 units, after selling 359 units in June and 394 units in May. Overall for the year, 2,112 Chevrolet Spark EVs have been sold.

Ford Focus Electric sold 58. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the Focus Electric now stand at 504.
|Smart Fortwo Electric Drive |
Last month, smart fortwo ED sold 62 units last month, after selling 53 units in June, 75 units in May and 66 units in April. Overall for the year, 428 smart fortwo EDs have been sold.
|Mitsubishi i |
Mitsubishi sold 20 i-MiEV electric car in July, after selling 4 units in June. Overal for the year, 40 iMiEVs have been sold. Last year, 115 i-MiEV EVs have been sold. The 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the United States in late March 2015. With a starting MSRP of only $22,995, the 2016 i-MiEV is the most affordably-priced electric vehicle available in America today, and after factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP is reduced to $15,495.
Toyota sold 52 Mirai fuel-cell electric sedans last month. Overall for the year, 270 Mirai FCVs have been sold. The Mirai is priced MSRP $57,500 plus an $835 destination fee. With combined state and federal incentives of $13,000 available to many customers, the purchase price could potentially fall to under $45,000.
