
BluePointLondon, the operator of Source London since September 2014, announced new agreements with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the London Borough of Hackney and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, to take over the maintenance and operation of their electric vehicles charging points.
This announcement follows recent agreements with Transport for London (“TfL”), the London Borough of Sutton and the London Borough of Southwark. As of today BluePointLondon is responsible for both the management and maintenance of 110 EV charging points representing a quarter of London’s on-street charging points.
Source London currently has over 4,000 members, 1,400 EV charging points in 27 London boroughs and 39 private partners and aims to reach 6,000 points by 2018 to oversee the growth of electric cars in London.
