Jeep Compass Full-Electric Eligible for UK £1,500 EV Grant as Pricing and Range Confirmed

The fully electric Jeep Compass has officially been approved for the UK Government Electric Car Grant (ECG), unlocking a £1,500 price reduction for eligible buyers. The incentive, supported by the Department for Transport, is aimed at accelerating electric vehicle adoption across the UK market.

With the grant applied, the Jeep Compass Full-Electric now starts from £35,499 OTR, making it a more competitive entry in the growing electric SUV segment.

UK Grant Expands Accessibility Across Jeep’s Electric Lineup

The latest approval means the entire electric Jeep range, including the Compass and Avenger, now benefits from the £1,500 ECG support. This positions the brand more strongly in the UK’s rapidly expanding EV market, where affordability and real-world usability remain key purchase drivers.

According to Jeep UK leadership, the model reflects the brand’s transition toward electrification while maintaining its traditional focus on capability and versatility.

Performance and Range: Built for Everyday Use and Adventure

The Jeep Compass Full-Electric is designed to combine urban practicality with long-distance capability. Key performance highlights include:

– Up to 285 miles of electric range
– 213 hp and 345 Nm of torque
– 100 kW DC fast charging
– 11 kW onboard AC charging

With fast charging capability, the battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in under 35 minutes, making it suitable for both daily commuting and longer journeys.

The model continues Jeep’s focus on versatility, aiming to deliver confident driving both in city environments and on more challenging terrain.

Trim Levels and Pricing After the EV Grant

The Jeep Compass Full-Electric lineup is available in multiple trims, both benefiting from the £1,500 ECG:

– Compass Full-Electric Altitude – £35,499 OTR
– Compass Full-Electric First Edition – £37,700 OTR

The pricing structure positions the Compass as one of the more accessible mid-size electric SUVs offering extended range and strong performance figures.

Part of a Broader Electrification Strategy

Jeep continues to expand its electrified portfolio, with the Compass playing a central role in its transition strategy. The brand is also preparing additional variants, including hybrid and four-wheel-drive electrified options, further broadening customer choice.

Upcoming additions to the range will include Compass 4xe and plug-in hybrid versions, reinforcing Jeep’s multi-powertrain approach as it shifts toward full electrification.
