Renault Twingo E-Tech Makes Its UK Debut at Battersea Power Station

This February, Renault is giving UK audiences their very first look at the all-new Renault Twingo E-Tech electric, as it makes its official UK debut at rnlt London Battersea, the brand’s striking new concept store inside the iconic Battersea Power Station.

Running from 7–15 February, the showcase offers visitors a rare opportunity: this will be the only Renault Twingo E-Tech electric on display anywhere in the UK ahead of order books opening later this year. For city drivers, EV fans, and design lovers alike, it’s a sneak peek worth making time for.

The Perfect City Car, in the Perfect City Setting

The choice of venue is no accident. Located on Battersea Power Station’s Electric Boulevard, rnlt London Battersea is Renault’s first UK rnlt concept store — a bold, immersive retail space that blends cars, culture, and lifestyle into one experience. Spanning more than 200 square metres, the store showcases Renault’s growing all-electric line-up alongside exclusive merchandise, all set within one of London’s most beloved landmarks.

According to David Isherwood, Marketing Director at Renault UK, the Twingo E-Tech electric feels right at home here. Built specifically for urban life, the compact EV is designed to thrive in busy city environments — making Battersea the ideal stage for its UK introduction.

Visitors will be able to explore the Twingo up close, from its playful, characterful design to the smart technology aimed at making everyday electric driving simpler and more enjoyable. Since its global reveal in Paris last November, the new Twingo has already created serious buzz, and Renault believes this new generation could follow the cult success of the original model.

Another Step in Renault’s Electric Momentum

The UK debut of the Twingo E-Tech electric marks another important milestone in Renault’s rapidly expanding EV journey. It builds on the momentum created by the Renault 4 E-Tech electric and Renault 5 E-Tech electric, both of which have successfully blended retro-inspired design with modern technology and real-world usability.

With the Twingo, Renault is now aiming to redefine the A-segment — delivering a small electric car that doesn’t feel compromised, despite its compact footprint.

Affordable, Fun, and Advanced

Designed as a true city-friendly EV, the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric targets a starting price below £20,000, making it one of the most accessible electric cars Renault has ever planned for the UK market.

Despite its size and price point, it packs impressive credentials:

– Up to 163 miles WLTP range from an LFP battery
– A lively 60kW electric motor
– Advanced features such as One Pedal driving
– Optional OpenR Link infotainment with Google built-in, a feature usually reserved for larger, more expensive cars

The result is a cheerful, easy-to-drive EV that’s perfectly suited to urban life — and proof that electric mobility doesn’t have to be boring or out of reach.

Get Ahead of the Queue with the Twingo R Pass

For those eager to be among the first owners, Renault is offering the Twingo R Pass. Priced at £100, it grants priority access when orders open later this year, along with a bundle of exclusive perks. These include a miniature Twingo model, a distinctive green Renault key cover, a dedicated concierge service, and early updates on the new electric city car.

A Small Car with Big City Ambitions

As London prepares to welcome the Twingo E-Tech electric, Renault is sending a clear message: the future of urban mobility can be compact, affordable, and full of personality. And for one week this February, Battersea Power Station will be the only place in the UK where you can see that future up close.
