Leapmotor B03X Opens European Orders Starting at €24,900

Leapmotor has officially opened the order books for the all-new B03X across Europe, introducing a compact electric crossover designed specifically for global markets. Positioned as an affordable yet technology-focused EV, the new model aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in one of Europe’s fastest-growing vehicle segments.

Starting at €24,900, the B03X combines practical dimensions, competitive driving range and fast charging, making it an attractive option for drivers looking to switch to electric mobility without stretching their budget.

Affordable Electric Crossover for Everyday Driving

The Leapmotor B03X has been developed as a smart urban crossover that blends SUV-inspired styling with compact proportions suited to city life. Measuring 4,270 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall, with a 2,605 mm wheelbase, it is designed to be easy to maneuver and park while still offering the elevated seating position and versatility buyers expect from a crossover.

Despite its compact footprint, Leapmotor says the interior has been optimized to maximize passenger and cargo space. A flexible seating layout, flat load floor and multiple storage compartments help the B03X adapt to commuting, family use and weekend trips alike.

The cabin follows a clean, minimalist design philosophy focused on usability and comfort, with intuitive controls and a digital-first experience.

Two Battery Options and Up to 382 km of Range

The B03X is built on Leapmotor’s latest dedicated EV platform and uses the company’s CTC2.0 Plus (Cell-to-Chassis) battery technology, which integrates the battery into the vehicle structure to improve packaging efficiency and overall performance.

Buyers can choose between two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs:

– 39.8 kWh battery with up to 292 km (181 miles) WLTP range.
– 53.0 kWh battery with up to 382 km (237 miles) WLTP range.

Both battery versions support 2.5C DC fast charging, allowing charging from 30% to 80% in approximately 16 minutes, reducing charging stops during daily use and longer journeys.

197 Horsepower Front-Wheel-Drive Powertrain

Power comes from a single electric motor mounted on the front axle, producing 197 hp (145 kW) and 200 Nm of torque.

Performance figures include:

– 0–100 km/h (62 mph): 8.6 seconds
– Top speed: 160 km/h (99 mph)

While not positioned as a performance EV, the B03X is designed to deliver responsive acceleration and efficient everyday driving for both urban and suburban environments.

Connected Technology as Standard

Technology is a key selling point for the B03X. The crossover features Leapmotor’s latest Leap OS 4.0 operating system, offering smartphone integration, connected services and remote vehicle management.

The digital ecosystem has been designed to simplify everyday ownership while providing the connectivity features expected in modern electric vehicles.

Simple Model Range

Leapmotor is keeping the lineup straightforward with just two trim levels:

– LIFE
– DESIGN

Both trims are paired with one of the two available battery options, giving customers a simple choice between greater affordability or extended driving range without an overly complicated configuration process.

Expanding Leapmotor’s European Presence

The B03X represents another important step in Leapmotor’s international expansion strategy. Engineered to meet global standards for safety, quality and performance, the electric crossover is intended to appeal to a new generation of EV buyers seeking practicality, modern technology and value.

With pricing starting below many competitors, fast charging in as little as 16 minutes and a maximum WLTP range of 382 km, the Leapmotor B03X enters the European market as a compelling new option in the affordable electric crossover segment. As orders begin rolling out across European dealerships, it is set to become a key model in the brand’s growing global lineup.
