Leapmotor opens UK order books for T03 and C10 EVs

The Stellantis-backed Chinese EV maker Leapmotor has opened the order books in the UK for both the T03 and C10 models.

A result of a unique partnership between Stellantis, one of the largest automotive brands in the world, and leading Chinese company in the technology field, Leapmotor, this represents a bold new sales model for an EV brand in the UK.

The international joint venture is led by 51% stakeholder Stellantis, which has an unrivalled 130 years of history in the UK automotive sector, plus the know-how of 14 international brands and a global presence in over 170 countries.

Crucially for the UK, the partnership starts with 44 Leapmotor retailers, which will expand to more than 80 by the end of 2025. All are part of the existing Stellantis network, giving Leapmotor and its customers ultimate peace of mind through access to its experienced staff, plus its long-standing aftersales network and logistics infrastructure. All Leapmotor products are covered by a comprehensive four-year warranty, while the battery features a separate eight-year guarantee.

Leapmotor T03

Priced at £15,995, the Leapmotor T03 is available from as little as £199 a month over four years, with a £199 deposit and 0% APR. A compact hatchback that delivers B-segment space and practicality at an A-segment price, the T03 is fun to drive and features a WLTP range of up to 165 miles and a 37.3kWh battery.

An exceptional specification as standard includes a 10.1-inch central infotainment touchscreen keyless start, a 42-inch panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade, climate control, an 8-inch LCD instrument cluster, rear view camera, 15-inch alloy wheels, heated electric mirrors and all-round electric windows and 10 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) functions, offering Level 2 intelligent driving.

Leapmotor C10

Putting excellence within reach, the Leapmotor C10 is a large D-segment SUV that’s priced at just £36,500 and is available for £399 a month over four years, with a £399 deposit. Using Leapmotor’s innovative Cell-to-Chassis technology, which integrates the battery cells into the structure of the vehicle, the C10 features a high performance 69.9kWh battery and a WLTP range of up to 263 miles.

It also features a host of premium standard features not normally seen at this price point, including electrically powered, heated and cooled front seats, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround view camera, heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker premium hi-fi, a 14.6-inch HD central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster.

In addition, the C10’s intelligent ambient light system can be synchronised with music, creating an immersive visual and acoustic experience. Exceptional smartphone connectivity also comes as standard, with up to five charging locations throughout the vehicle: two in the front row (USB Type-A and Type-C) and two in the rear area (USB Type-A and Type-C), in addition to a wireless 15W-charging pad between the front seats.

Safety is also assured thanks to a five-star rating from Euro NCAP and Level 2 driver assistance systems that include 12 high-precision sensors and 17 advanced functions, including advanced emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection and adaptive cruise control.
