Leapmotor B03X Compact SUV Unveiled With 500km Range

Stellantis-backed Chinese EV maker Leapmotor unveiled the B03X, named as the A10 for Chinese market, the first model developed on its brand-new global A platform, at a dedicated preview event in Guangzhou.

Positioned as a “smart premium long-range SUV”, compact and versatile, the B03X is designed to break the industry’s three dilemmas: that premium must mean expensive, small cars must be low-tech, and compact dimensions must sacrifice space.

By integrating Leapmotor’s latest architecture, the delivers flagship-level intelligence, best-in-segment EV range, flexible space, and global quality redefining what a compact SUV can be.

The B03X introduces a purpose-built EV architecture with an exceptional interior space. Over 4,200 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase exceeding 2,600 mm – combine true SUV stance with city-friendly agility.

Built on latest LEAP architecture the B03X offers door-to-door advanced driver assistance, an AI-powered cockpit, and full OTA updates throughout the vehicle lifecycle. Performance is equally impressive, with up to 500 km (310 miles) CLTC range from an ultra-high-density LFP battery.

The exterior design features six global colors, 18-inch sporty alloys, semi-hidden door handles, a floating roof, and an emotional “smile” lighting signature for instant recognition.

The B03X targets rational customers, seeking an affordable yet premium second vehicle for daily commutes, as well as first-time EV buyers upgrading from ICE compacts without compromising on safety, space, or smart technology.
