Zeekr launches in Germany with three models

Geely’s premium EV brand, Zeekr, has finally entered the German market after a two-year delay. Orders are open now, with deliveries slated for January.

Joining the wave of Chinese automakers expanding into Europe, Zeekr is looking to challenge established European and American brands with a blend of competitive pricing and high-end technology.

Zeekr is aiming for a broad demographic, targeting premium retail buyers, fleet operators, and car rental companies. Zeekr is undercutting many competitors with aggressive pricing:

– Zeekr X (Compact SUV): Starts at €37,990.
– Zeekr 7X (Mid-size SUV): Starts at €54,990.
– Zeekr 001 (Shooting Brake): Starts at €59,990 for the nearly five-meter-long flagship.

Zeekr has partnered with GAS Global Automotive Service GmbH to establish an initial network of 40 certified service centers for maintenance, repairs, and test drives. The goal is to expand this to 100 locations by Q2 2026.

To justify its premium positioning, Zeekr is loading the 7X and 001 models with extensive standard features, including: 21- or 22-inch wheels, Matrix LED headlights and Panoramic roof, air suspension and heat pump, massage seats and 22-kW onboard charger.

Perhaps the most aggressive selling point is the warranty. The high-voltage battery is covered for 8 years/200,000 km. The vehicle itself comes with a unique “5+5” warranty: standard 5-year coverage that extends to 10 years (or 200,000 km) if servicing is maintained within the Zeekr network.

Test drives will be available to book via their website starting at the end of the year.
