
Despite facing a challenging year-on-year comparison, BYD posted its strongest figures of 2025 last month. The auto giant sold 480,186 New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in November—a rebound of nearly 9% from October.
The number includes 423,558 units from the Ocean & Dynasty series, 37,405 units from FCB, 13,255 units from Denza, and 703 units from Yangwang.

BYD’s NEVs include both passenger and commercial vehicles. Passenger NEVs recorded 474,921 units sold in November, down 5.77 percent year-on-year, though up 8.71 percent month-on-month.
While Passenger PHEVs dropped 22%, pure electric vehicles (BEVs) saw healthy double-digit growth of 19.93% with 237,540 units sold during the month.
The most significant data point from November is BYD’s global reach. The company exported a staggering 131,935 vehicles in a single month. That represents a massive 325.91% increase compared to last year.
