Electrify America and The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace Announce Ultra-Fast EV Charging Stations

Electrify America, the largest open ultra-fast DC charging network in the U.S., and Simon have collaborated to open an EV charging station at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The six ultra-fast 150 kW chargers, which will help to enable electric transportation in Las Vegas, are located in the VIP parking area on Stan Mallin Drive just off Frank Sinatra Drive, offering guests quick access to the center of the property.

Guests will be able to easily park and charge their EV while enjoying vast retail and dining options at The Forum Shops at Caesars. Customers can rely on Electrify America’s 24-hour Customer Contact Center for support and can manage their charging session with the user-friendly Electrify America mobile app enabling contactless payment and session tracking on their smart phone.

“Simon is widely known for its commitment to exceptional retail and dining experiences, and we are excited to bring a unique amenity to guests, giving EV drivers the convenience of ultra-fast charging speeds while they shop,” said Anthony Lambkin, senior director of operations at Electrify America. “Making EV charging more available in such a popular travel destination is another step for Electrify America’s commitment to raising awareness and making EV charging infrastructure accessible.”

“We are committed to providing convenient amenities for our customers,” said Daniel Segal, Vice President, Business Development, Simon. “We are excited to work with Electrify America to provide a reliable and quick EV recharging experience for our guests in Las Vegas.”

Electrify America has more than 640 charging stations across the U.S., with more than 2,700 individual DC fast chargers. Since opening its first charging stations in May 2018, Electrify America has set a rapid pace for its network expansion, opening on average four stations per week. By the end of 2021, Electrify America plans to install or have under development approximately 800 charging stations composed of about 3,500 DC fast chargers.
