Plugless recently published an awesome infographic of the plug-in vehicle models you can buy in the US to visualize EV range numbers.
Plugless compared the all-electric range of various all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars to the familiar California coast. The graphic shows just how far you can go on 100% clean electric power.
As you can see, of the 47 electric vehicle models you can buy in the US, 29 of them can cover 100% of your daily driving needs on pure electric power. Models with under 100 miles of range typically have a gas “range extender” option. That can enable zero-emission daily driving most days, and efficient gas-electric hybrid driving the rest of the time.
