Skoda Auto continued its strong momentum in the first half of 2026, posting higher global deliveries, record electric vehicle sales, and solid financial results. The Czech automaker delivered 555,700 vehicles worldwide between January and June, representing a 9.1% year-over-year increase, while strengthening its position as one of Europe’s leading automotive brands.

Skoda retained its position as the second-best-selling automotive brand in Europe (EU27+4), maintaining the ranking it achieved after the first quarter of 2026. According to ACEA registration figures, the brand registered 457,663 vehicles, comfortably outperforming the overall European market.
Several major markets recorded strong growth during the first six months of the year:
– Germany: 120,400 deliveries (+19.6%)
– Czech Republic: 48,900 (+6.9%)
– United Kingdom: 46,600 (+6.6%)
– India: 35,700 (+7.4%)
– Poland: 34,500 (+14.2%)
Skoda also reported healthy gains across France, Italy, Austria, and Spain, reflecting broad demand for its expanding model lineup.
Electric Vehicle Deliveries Reach Record Levels
Growing demand for battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles continued to accelerate Skoda’s electrification strategy.
During the first half of 2026, the automaker delivered 132,300 electrified vehicles worldwide, including battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs).
The biggest contributor was the all-electric lineup:
– 108,200 battery-electric vehicles delivered (+48.3%)
– 24,100 plug-in hybrids delivered (+11.8%)
Electrified vehicles accounted for 27.7% of all Skoda deliveries in Europe, meaning that more than one in four customers chose a vehicle with a charging plug.

The recently launched Skoda Elroq quickly established itself among Europe’s most popular electric vehicles.
Global deliveries reached 59,900 units, making it the fifth best-selling model in Skoda’s global lineup during the first half of the year.

Across Europe, the Enyaq ranked as the fourth-best-selling battery-electric vehicle, while leading the EV market in the Czech Republic and earning top-three positions in Austria, Estonia, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Combined, the Elroq and Enyaq have become the driving force behind Skoda’s electric vehicle growth.
Octavia Keeps Its Crown
Despite the rapid rise of electric models, the Skoda Octavia remained the company’s best-selling vehicle with 96,500 deliveries during the first half of 2026.
The brand’s top-selling models included:

– Kodiaq – 74,600 (+15.2%)
– Kamiq – 65,400 (+1.9%)
– Fabia – 61,900 (+2.5%)
– Elroq – 59,900

Epiq and Peaq Expand Skoda’s Electric Lineup
Skoda is continuing to accelerate its transition toward electric mobility by expanding its battery-electric portfolio.
Following the world premiere of the Skoda Epiq in May, production has started at Volkswagen’s Navarra plant in Pamplona, Spain. Meanwhile, production adjustments at the company’s Czech facilities are creating additional capacity for the upcoming Skoda Peaq, which will serve as the brand’s new flagship electric model.
With the addition of the Epiq and Peaq, Skoda has doubled its electric vehicle portfolio while expanding its total model range to 14 vehicles. The two newly introduced EVs have already generated more than 30,000 customer orders, providing strong momentum for the second half of the year.
Financial Results Reflect Strong Momentum
Skoda’s operational performance translated into another set of healthy financial results during the first half of 2026.
The automaker reported:
– Revenue of €16.0 billion, up 6.3%
– Operating profit of €1.4 billion, up 6.3%

– Net cash flow of €1.7 billion, up 14.3%
