BYD Unveils Flagship TANG EV SUV in Brazil

BYD Brazil recently announced the pre-launch of the all-wheel-drive compact SUV BYD TANG EV (also called the TAN EV in Brazil) during BYD VIP DAY in São Paulo, Brazil. The event marks BYD’s official entry in the Brazilian electric passenger vehicle market.

Equipped with the industry-leading Blade Battery technology, BYD TANG EV is the first pure electric seven-seater SUV in Brazil, which is scheduled to be launched in 2022.

The BYD TANG EV is equipped with BYD’s Blade Battery, which showcases unparalleled technology, safety, and performance. This industry-leading technology amazed guests with its safety, performance, and luxurious experience.

“Not only does BYD offer innovative and sustainable products, but also provides integrated solutions in new energy transportation through sophisticated green technologies,” said Tyler Li, the General Manager of BYD Brazil. “Today is a very special day for BYD Brazil, as it marks the pre-launch of the BYD TANG EV SUV, which ushers in a new era in the Brazilian electric passenger vehicle market.”

Adalberto Maluf, the Director of Marketing and Sustainability of BYD Brazil, commented, “We’re excited to bring the Tang EV to Brazil. Electric vehicles have become popular in Brazil. The pre-launch of the TANG EV reinforces BYD’s commitment to the new energy industry.”

Eurobike, a group with a great deal of experience and prestige, will be the first BYD dealership in the Brazilian new energy passenger vehicle market.
