PEUGEOT Opens Orders For The “Long Range” Versions Of The PEUGEOT E-3008 And E-5008

PEUGEOT is opening orders for the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Long Range, which, thanks to its “Made in France” battery, offers a range of 700 and 668 km respectively (WLTP combined cycle).

This range allows the PEUGEOT E-3008 to make a Paris-Nice trip with just two stops, compared to at least three for its competitors, making it a true Electric offering for long distance.

Since its launch, more than 67,000 orders for the new E-3008 have been recorded in Europe, with a 60% mix in the high-end GT trim, further solidifying the brand’s strategic positioning. The initial orders for the all-new 5008, which have been open since mid-June 2024, are also very encouraging, justifying the ramp-up of production at the Sochaux plant and the addition of a third night shift

To amplify this success and meet the needs of all customers even more precisely, the new Electric 230 Long Range versions of the PEUGEOT E-3008 and PEUGEOT E-5008 are now available to order in two trims, Allure and GT:

– PEUGEOT E-3008 230 Long Range ALLURE : €46 990 inc VAT, eligible for the €4,000 eco-bonus.
– PEUGEOT E-3008 230 Long Range GT: €51 490 inc VAT
– PEUGEOT E-5008 230 Long Range ALLURE: €51 490 inc VAT
– PEUGEOT E-5008 230 Long Range GT: €55 990  inc VAT

The PEUGEOT E-3008 Long Range will be presented to the public for the first time on the PEUGEOT stand at the  Paris Motor Show, from 14th to 20th October, 2024.

Designed and engineered in France, the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 230 Long Range, assembled at the Sochaux plant, is the first Stellantis model to receive batteries produced at the ACC gigafactory in Douvrin, showcasing French technological excellence.

The high-performance design of the STLA Medium “BEV-by-design” platform allows for a greater amount of energy to be stored between the wheels – with a battery that is 15 mm thicker – while maintaining the same interior space and boot volume as the Electric 210, Hybrid, and Plug-in Hybrid versions.

The new PEUGEOT E-3008 and PEUGEOT E-5008 230 Long Range are equipped with a useful 96.9 kWh battery which, combined with the efficient and powerful 230 hp/170 kW motor, ensures a range of 700 and 668 km respectively (WLTP combined cycle), making them the SUVs with the best electric range on the market.

The new PEUGEOT E-3008 and PEUGEOT E-5008 230 Long Range not only offer record-breaking range but also some of the best charging times in their segment.

In Mode 4, the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 230 Long Range can accept up to 160 kW of power at superchargers, requiring 27 minutes to go from 20% to 80% charge, or allowing for a recovery of 150 km of range in just 10 minutes.

Moreover, the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 LONG RANGE benefit from the new battery pre-conditioning (pre-heating system), which allows them to optimize the initial charging times during long trips and low temperature. This battery pre-conditionning is automatically activated as soon as the car is plugged, charging limit set to 100% and cabin pre-conditioning activated (manually or planned).

To continue supporting all motorists in their transition to electric vehicles, PEUGEOT will soon expand its offering with a third electric powertrain for these two vehicles: the 320 Dual Motor AWD version, equipped with all-wheel drive, offering particularly high performance.

To ensure total peace of mind for their users, the new PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 230 Long Range benefit, like all PEUGEOT 100% electric models, from the unique ALLURE CARE warranty, which offers a comprehensive vehicle coverage (including the electric motor, charger, transmission, and major electrical and mechanical components) for 8 years/160,000 km.
