
Tesla Motors has partnered with China’s real estate giant, Hang Lung Properties Limited, to expand its charging network in China.
Tesla will install destination charging points at the real estate company’s shopping malls in six major cities in mainland China.
In the first stage of the project, a total of 19 destination chargers will be installed in the Company’s Riverside 66 in Tianjin, Center 66 in Wuxi, Plaza 66 in Shanghai, Forum 66 in Shenyang, Parc 66 in Jinan and Olympia 66 in Dalian. This expansion of Tesla’s charging network will enable customers in mainland China to enjoy the improved convenience of driving electric sedans.
Besides China, more recently Tesla also geared up to expand its charging through the east coast of Australia.
Its global reach has made Tesla the world’s bestselling luxury electric vehicle manufacturer. The company now has the world’s fastest growing electric vehicle charging network, boasting of 508 Supercharger stations and 2,871 Superchargers.
