DS N°7 Electric SUV Flagship Priced From €46,990 in France

DS Automobiles has unveiled the new DS N°7, a premium SUV designed to combine luxury, efficiency and advanced electrification. Replacing the brand’s original DS 7, the new flagship model introduces updated styling, improved aerodynamics and a wide range of electrified powertrains, including fully electric E-TENSE variants offering up to 740 km (WLTP) of driving range.

With a drag coefficient of just 0.26 Cd, the DS N°7 has been developed with a strong focus on aerodynamic efficiency while preserving interior comfort and practicality. Inspired by the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept, the SUV features a sleek silhouette, large 19- to 21-inch wheels and an expanded glass area that improves visibility and cabin spaciousness.

The premium SUV also benefits from enlarged rear doors and a panoramic roof that is 40% larger than before, helping create a brighter and more spacious cabin environment. Rear-seat passengers gain improved legroom, while the boot offers up to 560 litres of cargo space depending on the powertrain configuration.

Up To 375 HP And 740 km Of Range

The DS N°7 lineup includes three fully electric E-TENSE powertrains producing 230 hp, 245 hp and 350 hp. The most powerful version features dual motors and all-wheel drive, delivering up to 375 hp with the temporary power boost function activated.

Two battery options are available. The entry-level battery offers 73.7 kWh of usable capacity and powers the 230 hp front-wheel-drive version. Higher trims receive a larger 97.2 kWh battery pack, enabling significantly longer driving ranges.

The standout model is the DS N°7 E-TENSE FWD Long Range, capable of traveling up to 740 km on the WLTP cycle. According to DS Automobiles, the SUV can also cover more than 450 km of motorway driving on a single charge.

The AWD Long Range variant reaches up to 679 km WLTP, while the standard FWD electric version delivers up to 543 km of range.

Fast charging support reaches up to 160 kW, allowing the larger battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 27 minutes. Standard onboard charging ranges from 7.4 kW to 11 kW, while a 22 kW onboard charger is offered as an option.

Hybrid Option Also Available

Alongside the fully electric lineup, DS Automobiles will also offer the DS N°7 HYBRID. The hybrid model combines a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine with a 48-volt hybrid system and an integrated electric motor.

The powertrain delivers a combined 145 hp while achieving fuel consumption figures from 5.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions between 120 and 126 g/km. The system allows electric-only driving for up to 50% of urban journeys, helping reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Advanced Technology And Driver Assistance

The DS N°7 introduces the brand’s latest generation of technology and driver assistance systems. One of the highlights is DS PIXELVISION, an adaptive lighting system capable of adjusting beam patterns in real time to avoid dazzling other road users while maintaining optimal visibility.

The SUV is also equipped with DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0, offering Level 2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities including predictive adaptive cruise control, lane positioning assistance and semi-automatic lane changes.

Inside the cabin, the new DS IRIS SYSTEM 2.0 infotainment setup features a 16-inch touchscreen and integrated ChatGPT functionality for natural voice interaction. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, alongside multiple USB-C ports and optional ELECTRA 3D audio by FOCAL.

Additional premium technologies include an extended head-up display, DS NIGHT VISION capable of detecting pedestrians and animals up to 300 meters ahead, and a digital rear-view mirror system using a wide-angle camera.

EV Ecosystem And Smart Charging Features

The all-electric E-TENSE versions also benefit from EV-specific connected services. Integrated EV Routing can plan charging stops using real-time vehicle data, while battery pre-conditioning improves charging efficiency during long trips.

Drivers gain access to the Free2Move Charge ecosystem, which includes approximately 800,000 charging points across Europe, including around 135,000 fast chargers.

The DS N°7 additionally supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, enabling the SUV to power external electronic devices directly from the vehicle’s high-voltage battery.

Trim Levels And Pricing

The DS N°7 range is available in four trims: N°7, PALLAS, ÉTOILE and LA PREMIÈRE. Higher specifications add premium features such as DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0, DS PIXEL LED VISION headlights, Nappa leather seats, DS NIGHT VISION and a FOCAL premium audio system.

In France, pricing for the fully electric DS N°7 lineup starts at €46,990 for the E-TENSE FWD version. The long-range FWD model starts from €50,610, while the flagship AWD Long Range LA PREMIÈRE reaches €77,520.

Like the rest of the DS lineup, the new DS N°7 includes the DS SERENITY warranty package, covering up to 8 years or 160,000 km alongside roadside assistance across 47 countries.
