Microlino Launches in Norway with Local Partner, Prices Start from €19,100

Norway, the undisputed global leader in electric vehicle adoption, has a new contender on its streets. Microlino, the Swiss-designed and Italian-built electric microcar, has officially launched in the Norwegian market, by appointing Microlino Norge AS as its local partner.

The move strengthens Microlino’s footprint in Scandinavia and signals a long-term commitment to West European markets where electrification, design and sustainability go hand in hand.

A Dedicated Norwegian Hub in Stavanger

With the establishment of Microlino Norge AS, the company now has a dedicated structure for sales, service and customer support in Norway. Headquartered in Sandnes, with operations centered in the Stavanger region, the new hub will manage:

– Customer consultation and sales coordination
– Technical service and maintenance
– Warranty and after-sales support
– Community and partner engagement

For Norwegian customers, this means faster response times, local technical expertise and a more robust ownership experience — essential in a country where EV adoption is the norm rather than the exception.

Microlino Norge AS appears to be collaborating with local dealership Egeland Auto, which now lists the Microlino alongside its existing inventory. Current stock includes four vehicles, priced between 214,900 and 299,000 NOK (approximately €19,100 to €26,600).

Designed in Switzerland, Built in Italy — Made for European Cities

Developed in Switzerland and manufactured in Turin, Italy, the Microlino blends Swiss product vision with Italian craftsmanship. Inspired by the classic bubble cars of the 1950s, it is widely regarded as a modern reinterpretation of the iconic BMW Isetta — but fully electric and engineered for today’s urban environments.

Key highlights include:

– Signature front-opening door
– Ultra-compact footprint (up to three Microlinos fit in one standard parking space)
– Fully electric drivetrain

Two versions are available in Norway:

– Microlino Lite – limited to 45 km/h
– Microlino – top speed up to 90 km/h

Depending on the selected battery pack, range varies between 95 and 228 kilometres — ideal for daily commuting, city errands and short regional trips common across Scandinavian urban areas.

A Natural Fit for Norway’s EV Ecosystem

Norway continues to set global benchmarks in EV adoption and sustainable mobility. The country’s infrastructure, incentives and environmental awareness make it a prime testing ground for new mobility concepts.

Microlino’s positioning — compact, design-focused and fully electric — aligns well with Norwegian preferences for innovation and practicality. In dense city centres like Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger, its small footprint and urban efficiency could prove particularly appealing.

More Than a Microcar

Microlino markets its philosophy as “New Generation Urban Luxury” — a concept centred on compact yet refined mobility solutions. Rather than chasing high performance or long-distance capability, the brand focuses on simplicity, sustainability and everyday usability.

By building a strong local presence instead of relying solely on remote distribution, Microlino is aiming for sustainable growth in Norway and across Scandinavia. The launch marks another step in its broader European expansion strategy.

With prices starting from 214,900 NOK and a range of up to 228 km, Microlino is betting that Norway is ready for a new kind of electric urban mobility — smaller, smarter and designed specifically for city life.
