
Mazda is officially bringing the Mazda6e to the UK this summer, marking the electric rebirth of one of its most successful nameplates. First revealed at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show and already on sale in parts of Europe, the Mazda6e will launch with a single 78kWh battery option, priced from £38,995.
Blending premium saloon styling with the practicality of a five-door hatchback, the Mazda6e positions itself squarely in the competitive D-segment electric sedan market, targeting both private buyers and fleet customers.
Simplified UK Line-Up with 348 Miles of Range
Unlike mainland Europe, where the Mazda6e is offered with two battery choices, the UK market gets a single, optimized 78kWh LFP battery. Mazda says this configuration strikes the best balance between range, performance, durability, and charging speed.

Designed under Mazda’s “Electrifying Design Crafted to Perfection” concept, the Mazda6e evolves the brand’s Kodo – Soul of Motion design language for the EV era.
The result is a sleek, coupe-inspired silhouette with a low roofline, short rear deck, and strong road presence—without sacrificing hatchback practicality.

According to Jeremy Thomson, Managing Director of Mazda Motors UK, the Mazda6e is a “statement of intent” and a long-awaited model for UK dealers, combining design, technology, and driver engagement in a fully electric package.
Strong Value Proposition for Private and Fleet Buyers
With both trims priced below £40,000, the Mazda6e offers a compelling value proposition, especially given the extensive standard equipment. Mazda is also positioning the model as a key contender in the fleet BEV market, where range, pricing, and driver appeal remain critical factors.
Orders are now open in the UK, with first customer deliveries expected this summer.
Later in 2025, Mazda will expand its EV lineup further with the arrival of the all-new Mazda CX-6e electric SUV, continuing the brand’s multi-solution approach to electrification.
