Skoda Epiq SportLine Revealed With 270-Mile Range and £32,450 Price Tag

Skoda is expanding its upcoming electric SUV line-up with the introduction of the new Epiq SportLine, a sportier flagship version of its all-electric compact SUV. Priced from £32,450 in the UK, the new model combines distinctive styling, a more premium interior and 211 PS of power with a claimed driving range of around 270 miles.

The new Skoda Epiq SportLine will sit at the top of the Epiq range, above the Edition 55, bringing the brand’s popular SportLine treatment to its smallest all-electric SUV. The announcement also means that SportLine variants will be available across all four of Skoda’s all-electric models.

With its more aggressive exterior design, upgraded equipment and performance-focused cabin, the Epiq SportLine is aimed at buyers looking for a compact electric SUV with a sportier character without stepping into a more expensive vehicle segment.

Skoda Epiq SportLine Gets Sportier Exterior Styling

The new Epiq SportLine stands out from the rest of the range with a series of exclusive styling details. Unique front and rear bumpers give the electric SUV a more dynamic appearance, while black roof rails, black door mirrors and black badging reinforce its sporty identity.

The SportLine also features 19-inch Langur black alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights and rear lights, and an illuminated Tech-Deck front face. A dedicated SportLine badge at the rear further distinguishes the flagship model.

Skoda will also offer an optional black roof exclusively on the Epiq SportLine, giving buyers another way to personalise the exterior.

These changes give the compact electric SUV a more distinctive look while retaining the practical proportions expected from the Epiq.

A Sportier Interior With Upgraded Equipment

Inside, the Skoda Epiq SportLine receives a bespoke black interior designed to match its exterior styling. Electrically adjustable sports seats are upholstered in soft-touch microsuede and Techtona artificial leather, with white contrast stitching adding a more premium appearance.

The front sports seats are designed to provide improved lateral support, helping keep the driver and front passenger more securely positioned during cornering.

Black microsuede upholstery and white accents extend across the armrest, door panel inserts and dashboard trim. The cabin also features a heated three-spoke sports steering wheel carrying the SportLine badge, complete with paddles for adjusting regenerative braking.

Standard equipment includes ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charging with an output of up to 15 watts and decorative door sills.

The technology package includes a 13-inch infotainment display, a five-inch digital cockpit, wireless SmartLink smartphone connectivity and two-zone climate control. Drive Mode Select allows drivers to adjust the vehicle’s driving characteristics, while bi-directional charging capability adds flexibility for compatible external electrical devices.

Matrix LED lighting, an illuminated Tech-Deck face and electrically adjustable front seats with lumbar support are also part of the upgraded specification.

Skoda Epiq SportLine Range, Battery and Performance

The Epiq SportLine uses a 55 kWh battery, with 52 kWh of usable capacity, paired with an electric powertrain producing 211 PS and 290 Nm of torque.

Skoda quotes a 0–62 mph acceleration time of 7.1 seconds, giving the compact electric SUV enough performance to match its sportier styling. The top speed is rated at 99 mph.

The claimed driving range is approximately 270 miles on a single charge. While the final real-world range will depend on driving conditions, temperature, speed and wheel configuration, that figure could make the Epiq SportLine suitable for both daily commuting and longer journeys.

Rapid charging is another important part of the package. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in as little as 24 minutes under suitable conditions.

The electric SUV also features regenerative braking and a coasting mode to help manage energy use. Skoda’s ECO Assistant provides prompts through the Digital Cockpit to encourage more efficient driving and effective use of regenerative braking, potentially helping drivers extend their range.

Skoda Epiq SportLine Price and UK Launch Date

The Skoda Epiq SportLine will start at £32,450 in the UK, positioning it as the flagship version of the upcoming Epiq range.

Although the price has been announced, order books are expected to open at a later date. First customer deliveries are currently scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

The SportLine’s combination of a 270-mile claimed range, 211 PS, rapid charging and upgraded standard equipment could make it an appealing option for buyers considering a compact electric SUV.

Its final position in the market will depend on the full pricing and equipment details of competing models, as well as the specifications of other Epiq versions. Nevertheless, the new trim gives Skoda a sportier alternative for buyers who want an electric SUV with more visual distinction and additional comfort features.

Can the Skoda Epiq SportLine Stand Out in the Electric SUV Market?

The arrival of the Epiq SportLine adds another option to Skoda’s growing electric vehicle portfolio. Rather than focusing exclusively on range or affordability, the new flagship combines everyday usability with sporty styling, upgraded interior materials and a stronger equipment list.

Its 270-mile claimed range and 24-minute rapid-charging time could make it a practical choice for a wide range of driving needs, while its £32,450 starting price places it in a competitive position for a compact electric SUV.

With UK orders expected to open later and deliveries planned for early 2027, further details about the complete Epiq range should help clarify how the SportLine compares with other electric SUVs when it reaches the market.
