Leapmotor Accelerates European Expansion with New Market Entries

Leapmotor, one of China’s fastest-growing electric vehicle brands, has reached a major milestone in its European expansion, with 600 Sales and Service Points (POS) now established across the continent. This achievement marks a significant step forward in the brand’s mission to provide accessible, innovative, and sustainable mobility for all.

The milestone follows a series of strategic appointments and partnerships executed in line with Leapmotor’s European development plan launched in the second half of 2024. By the end of 2025, Leapmotor aims to exceed 700 locations across the G10 and key importer markets, solidifying its position as a leading EV provider in Europe.

“This rapid expansion underlines our commitment to building a truly customer-centric EV ecosystem in Europe,” said Danilo Annese, Head of Europe Commercial Operations at Leapmotor International. “We are not only scaling our presence but ensuring that Leapmotor owners enjoy comprehensive support and service wherever they are.”

Leapmotor’s strategic growth is anchored in the development of a robust dealer and service network—ensuring customers benefit from fast, reliable, and local assistance. With the current and planned expansion, the average drive time to a Leapmotor Sales and Service location will fall below 25 minutes across Europe.

This proximity enhances customer convenience, builds brand trust, and supports faster service response times and parts availability—crucial factors for improving the EV ownership experience.

New Market Launches

Over the past two weeks, Leapmotor has entered seven new European markets through high-profile partnerships:

– Ireland: Leapmotor has partnered with Gowan Auto, a leading automotive distributor and member of the Gowan Group, to launch operations in Ireland. Gowan Auto, already the importer for all Stellantis brands and Honda, will host Leapmotor at its state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Citywest, Dublin. Irish customers will be able to purchase the T03 city car and the C10, available as both a BEV and REEV, beginning September 2025.

– Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia: Leapmotor is expanding its collaboration with the Emil Frey Group, one of Europe’s most established automotive retailers. Already the official importer in Switzerland, Emil Frey will now introduce Leapmotor in these five countries, leveraging its extensive retail and aftersales infrastructure to support growth and customer experience

– Bulgaria: Leapmotor has signed an agreement with SFA Automotive LTD, a trusted distributor of Stellantis brands, to introduce its lineup in Bulgaria. The launch includes the T03 and C10, supported by a growing local network of sales and service centers.

Leapmotor’s European strategy is rooted in capillarity and customer proximity, ensuring that every driver is within reach of expert support. This focus not only enhances satisfaction but also supports the broader adoption of electric mobility across mature and emerging markets alike.
