Dubai Police Unveils Fully-Electric Lotus Emeya-S at World Police Summit

In a move that highlights Dubai Police’s commitment to sustainability and smart policing, the Tourist Police Department under the General Department of Criminal Investigation has officially introduced the fully electric Lotus Emeya-S into its luxury patrol fleet.

The unveiling ceremony took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre during the World Police Summit, an international platform for law enforcement innovation and cooperation.

Major General Al Mansouri received a detailed briefing on the Emeya-S, a high-performance electric vehicle capable of covering up to 600 kilometres per charge, reaching speeds of up to 250 km/h, and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.


The car combines powerful performance with sustainable technology, featuring autonomous driving capabilities, state-of-the-art digital interfaces, and a sleek, futuristic design.

He highlighted that such advanced vehicles support Dubai Police’s operational strategy by enhancing visibility in prominent tourist destinations like Burj Khalifa, Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, and JBR. “Integrating smart and sustainable vehicles reflects Dubai Police’s forward-looking vision and strengthens our interaction with the community by providing support, information, and a sense of security,” he said.

Mr Ramzi Al Atat, Regional Marketing and PR Director at Lotus, expressed his appreciation for the continued partnership with Dubai Police, following the earlier introduction of the Lotus Eletre R into the fleet. “We are honoured to work alongside Dubai Police once again. This collaboration reflects a shared dedication to eco-conscious innovation and showcases how electric mobility can contribute to public service,” he noted.
