EVBox Introduces Modular EV Fast Charging Station to the USA Market at CES 2023

EV charging solutions provider EVBox will introduce its fast charging station, EVBox Troniq Modular, to the North American market at CES 2023 in Las Vegas.

The station is part of  EVBox’s flexible and scalable product portfolio, with power capacity of up to 240kW. This DC fast charging station is already in service across the European market.

EVBox Troniq Modular can charge up to two cars at the same time. It has smart charging features, which allow for power distribution via Dynamic & Cluster Load Balancing, enabling energy optimization on site. The smart charging technology of this station makes it ideal for business, as it maximizes charging operation revenue.

EVBox will assemble the EVBox Troniq Modular stations for North American customers at its Libertyville, Illinois, facility, where the company has been in operation since 2020. The product is slated to start shipping in the second half of 2023. EVBox is dedicated to establishing a local supply chain that is compliant with the applicable Buy America requirements.

Starting in 2023, the Libertyville, Illinois facility will expand its capabilities to support DC charging assembly and testing.

“We are extremely excited to be part of shaping electric mobility in the United States. Businesses will have even more reason to invest in DC charging stations to support the electrification of North America with EVBox Troniq Modular. We are thrilled to attend CES 2023, one of the most important tech conferences in the country, with such great news,” said James Fox (SVP North America at EVBox).
