E-Legend EL1 Is An Audi Sport Quattro-Inspired Electric Super Sports Car With 804 HP

German EV startup ELEGEND AG has revealed the E-Legend EL1 – an Audi Sport Quattro-inspired 816 hp all-electric super sports car that combines futureoriented technology and a passion for sports car racing.

E-Legend says the rally-inspired EL1 can do 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 2.8sec, 0-200km/h (0-124mph) in less than 10 s and has a top speed of 255 km/h (158 mph).

An ultra-light carbon monocoque and a curb weight of 1,680 kilograms give the all-wheel-drive vehicle with a battery capacity of 90 kWh a range of 400 kilometers (258 miles), enough for two rounds on the Nürburgring when driven hard in the SportPlus driving mode. Fast charging is possible thanks to a system with more than 150 kW DC.

The E-Legend EL1 owes its sporty genes to its designer Marcus Holzinger, founder of ELEGEND AG. As a fan of motorsports, he is fascinated by both race driving and driving at the limit – be it as a driver or as an spectator. Motorsport legends have influenced the car designer since he was a child. For the EL1 project he has assembled a team of experienced and passionate auto-motive experts from the fields of design (HOTE Studio für Produktdesign), engineering (Roding Automobile), and sales. They are united by one common ambition–creating new auto-motive legends.

The E-Legend EL1 is assembled by hand with a price starting at 890,000 Euro plus VAT. A prototype is planned for early 2022. The production will be limited to only 30 units.

ELEGEND AG is also planning EL2 and EL3 models, also limited to 30 vehicles each. The ELEGEND AG, which is almost ready to launch, is still looking for supporters. Interested parties can contribute through shareholding based on a nominal value of 290,00 Euro per share.
