Polestar Is Red Dot’s Brand Of The Year

Polestar has been recognised as Brand of the Year by Red Dot in the internationally renowned contest’s Brands & Communication category. The Swedish electric performance brand has been judged as a whole and is assessed on how the brand experience delivers on what it intends to be.

The award is given by Red Dot “for exceptionally well-designed brand communication and goes to the best brand in an industry which succeeds in portraying a consistent brand image across various channels in its communication.”

The jury members individually viewed and evaluated the 6,992 entries submitted in an online jury session, selecting the best-designed brands and communication projects of 2020. Polestar has been acknowledged as the best brand, succeeding in portraying a consistent brand image across various channels in its communication.

“It’s an honour to be named Brand of the Year by Red Dot,” comments Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. “Design is at the core of Polestar, in each and every aspect of the brand, and it deserves our full attention in order to fulfil our promise of pure and progressive design.”

In addition to the main prize, Polestar has also been named Best of the Best for its consistency in design quality and creative performance. And, for the Polestar 2 design book which the brand produced in 2019, Polestar receives a Red Dot for creativity and good craftsmanship.
