All major automakers are posting September sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.

 | Nissan LEAF Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,055 units, down 19.8% compared to September of 2016 when Nissan sold 1,316 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year to date in 2017, 10,740 LEAFs have been sold, which is up 16.3% compared with 2016 when 9,238 were sold. |
 | Chevrolet Volt Chevrolet Volt sold 1,453 units last month, down 28.5 percent compared to September of 2016 when Chevy sold 2,031 Volts. Overall for the year, 15,348 Chevrolet Volt plug-ins have been sold, which is down by 6% compared to 2016 when 16,326 units were sold. |
 | Toyota Prius Prime Prius Plug-in Hybrid sold 1,899 units during the month, after selling 1,820 in August. Overall for the year, 15,056 Prius Prime plug-ins have been sold. The Prius Prime PHV achieves a remarkable EPA-estimated 133 MPGe and MSRP that will range from $27,100 for the base Prius Prime Plus grade. |
 | Ford C-Max Energi Ford C-MAX Energi sold 683 units in September. Previously in August, Ford sold 705 C-MAX Energi plug-ins. Overall for the year, 6,612 C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrids have been sold, which is up 23% compared to 2016 when 5,376 units have been sold. |
 | Ford Fusion Energi Ford Fusion Energi finished last month with 763 deliveries, after selling 762 units in August. In terms of year to date in 2017, 7,285 Fusion Energi plug-ins have been sold, which is down 37.5% compared to 2016 when 11,650 units have been sold.. |
 | Chevrolet Bolt EV Chevrolet Bolt EV deliveries totaled 2,632 units during the month. Previously in August, Chevy Bolt sold 2,107 units. In terms of year to date in 2017, 14,302 Bolt EVs have been sold. The Chevrolet Bolt EV begins at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $37,495, which includes destination and freight charges, but excludes tax, title, license and dealer fees. Depending on individual tax situations, customers may receive an available federal tax credit of up to $7,500. |
 | Porsche Panamera S-E Hybrid Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrids didn’t sold any unit during the month. Panamera S-E Hybrid sold 1 unit in August and May, after selling 2 units in April, 3 units in March, just 1 unit in February and 2 units in January. This vehicle will offer a range of 310 miles and a 0-60 mph time of 5.1 seconds. With a total system output of 230 kW/313 hp generated by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine and a synchronous electric motor, the BMW X5 xDrive40e achieves a combined fuel consumption of 69 – 71 mpg. |

With its eDrive technology the BMW 740e xDrive iPerformance can be driven in all-electric mode up to 75 mph. Overall for the year, 332 Mercedes-Benz GLE 550e plug-in hybrids have been sold GLE 550e is equipped with V6 gas engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission, combined with an electric motor for total system power of 436 hp, 479 ft lbs of torque. For an extra $600, one can purchase the extended range package which allows the driver go 104 miles. |
 | Mercedes-Benz C 350e Mercedes-Benz C 350e sold 126 last month. Previously in August, the C 350e sold 212 units. Overall for the year, 738 C 350e PHEVs have been sold. The Mercedes-Benz C 350 e combines a combustion engine with an electric drive system and a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 6.38 kWh, which can be charged from an external power source. The C 350 e can reach a top speed of 155.3 mph while achieving certified fuel consumption of 112 mpg US. |

The 2017 Pacifica Hybrid starts at $34,495 with available U.S. federal tax credit, not including state and local incentives. The Pacifica Hybrid has earned a fuel economy rating of 84 MPGe from EPA. It also offers a total driving range of 566 miles and an electric-only range of 33 miles. |
 | Volkswagen e-Golf Volkswagen e-Golf sold 187 units last month, down 64.7 percent compared to September of 2016 when Volkswagen sold 529 e-Golf EVs. Overall for the year, 2,699 e-Golfs have been sold, which is down by 3% compared to 2016 when 2,782 units were sold. |
 | Audi A3 Sportback e-tron Sales of the A3 Sportback e-tron sold 85 units during the month, down 72.8 percent compared to September of 2016 when A3 Sportback e-tron sold 312 units. In terms of year to date, sales of the A3 Sportback e-tron no stand at 2,552 units, down 13.5% compared with 2016 when 2,949 units were sold. |
 | Fiat 500e For May, Fiat 500e sold 375 units units in last month, after selling 415 units in August. Overall for the year, 4,765 Fiat 500e EVs have been sold. In 2016, sales of the Fiat 500e were 5,330 units. |
 | Hyundai Sonata PHEV Hyundai Sonata plug-in hybrid sold 190 units during the month. Previously in August, Sonata PHEV sold 185 units. Overall for the year, 1,995 Sonata plug-in hybrids have been sold, Hyundai Sonata PHEV is priced from $34,600 before incentives. |
 | Kia Optima PHEV Kia Optima PHEV plug-in hybrid sold 228 units during the month, after selling 182 units in August. In terms of year to date, sales of the Optima PHEVs now stand at 930 units. With an estimated 600 miles of total driving range, the Optima PHEV’s battery system features a 9.8 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack, which produces roughly 60 percent more energy output than the battery pack found in the outgoing Optima’s hybrid system, and is estimated to achieve 27 miles in full EV mode |
