All major automakers are posting July sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.

 | Nissan LEAF Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,283 units, up 20.7% compared to July of 2016 when Nissan sold 1,063 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year to date in 2017, 8,531 LEAFs have been sold, which is up 24.4% compared with 2016 when 6,856 were sold. Along with its new look, the second generation Nissan LEAF will also use an improved electric drivetrain that’s predicted to have a range of at least 200 miles. The all-new Nissan LEAF will have its world debut in Tokyo on September-6th.. |
 | Chevrolet Volt Chevrolet Volt sold 1,518 units last month, down 36.9 percent compared to July of 2016 when Chevy sold 2,406 Volts. Overall for the year, 12,450 Chevrolet Volt plug-ins have been sold, which is up by 1.9% compared to 2016 when 12,214 units were sold. |
 | Toyota Prius Prime Prius Plug-in Hybrid sold 1,645 units during the month, after selling 1,619 in June. Overall for the year, 11,337 Prius Prime plug-ins have been sold. The Prius Prime PHV achieves a remarkable EPA-estimated 133 MPGe and MSRP that will range from $27,100 for the base Prius Prime Plus grade. |
 | Ford C-Max Energi Ford C-MAX Energi sold 844 units in June. Previously in June, Ford sold 936 C-MAX Energi plug-ins. Overall for the year, 5,253 C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrids have been sold, which is up 35.8% compared to 2016 when 3,225 units have been sold. |
 | Ford Fusion Energi Ford Fusion Energi finished last month with 703 deliveries, after selling 707 units in June. In terms of year to date in 2017, 5,760 Fusion Energi plug-ins have been sold, which is down 30.1% compared to 2016 when 7,235 units have been sold.. |
 | Chevrolet Bolt EV Chevrolet Bolt EV deliveries totaled 1,971 units during the month. Previously in June, Chevy Bolt sold 1,642 units. In terms of year to date in 2017, 9,563 Bolt EVs have been sold. The Chevrolet Bolt EV begins at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $37,495, which includes destination and freight charges, but excludes tax, title, license and dealer fees. Depending on individual tax situations, customers may receive an available federal tax credit of up to $7,500. |

With its eDrive technology the BMW 740e xDrive iPerformance can be driven in all-electric mode up to 75 mph. The 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the United States in late March 2015. With a starting MSRP of only $22,995, the 2016 i-MiEV is the most affordably-priced electric vehicle available in America today, and after factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP is reduced to $15,495. | |
