
The Netherlands have registered 588 plug-in passenger cars last month, the worst result in three years, down 8% year-on-year.
From 588 registrations 489 were battery-electric vehicles (up 213% year-on-year), while plug-in hybrids accounted for 99 (down 80% year-on-year)
The Tesla Model S was the best-selling car last month with 131 deliveries, followed by the Tesla Model X with 100 registrations, and the Hyundai Ioniq Electric with 88 units, while the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV was fourth with 53 units – the highest monthly score that a PHEV had in 2017
Looking at the Year-to-Date ranking, the Tesla Model S is in leadership, with 625 units, the BMW i3 is second with 366 units, while the Mode X is in third place with 359 units, followed by the fourth placed Ioniq Electric with 352 registrations.
In the manufacturers ranking, Tesla is in the lead (33% share, up 1%), followed by second-placed BMW (13%, down 1%) with Hyundai and Nissan both in third place with 12% share.
