
The Swedish plug-in electric vehicle market registered 1.175 units in February, up 90% regarding the same month last year, with the market share above 4.5%, down from the record 5.3% in January.
The VW Passat GTE was the best-selling car last month, with a 361 deliveries, followed by the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, with 232 registrations, and the BMW 300e, with 84.
In the Light Commercial Vehicles (N1) class, registrations were up 80% to 36 units, with the Renault Kangoo ZE overcoming the Nissan e-NV200, winning by 18 to 13 units.
Looking at other alternative fuels, this year CNG passenger cars are down 8% Year-on-year, to 550 units, while on the Fuel Cell front, the Toyota Mirai registered 2 units in 2017, and Hyundai registered only one ix35 FCEV in the same period.
