
The Norwegian plug-in vehicle market continues on a never ending growth trend, having registered a record 4.831 units in January, up 72% Year-on-Year, pulling the plug-in market share at a record 37%.
The BMW i3 was the best-selling plug-in model (and #2 in the global ranking) last month, with 622 units, followed by the VW Passat GTE, with 411 units and the third placed Volvo XC90 PHEV, with 398, both models scoring their best result ever.
In the LCV (N1) category, registrations were down 25% to 58 units last month, with the Nissan e-NV200 (23 registrations) leading ahead of the Peugeot Partner EV (19) and Renault Kangoo ZE (4).
Looking at Fuel Cell passenger cars, there were six registrations in January, all of them belonging to the Hyundai ix35 FCEV.
