
Las Vegas-based PSC Motors has announced the upcoming 1,700 HP plug-in hybrid hypercar, dubbed the SP-200 SIN.
PSC Motors said that the SP-200 SIN is a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive hypercar, that will be powered by 9.0-liter V8 naturally-aspirated engine paired to an electric motor for a total combined system output of 1,700 horsepower.
The SP-200 SIN will be constructed using lightweight material, such as carbon fiber and aluminum, and it’s claimed to tip the scales at 1400kg while measuring 4.4 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.1 meters high.
According to PSC Motors, the SP-200 SIN will sprint to 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of over 280 mph (450 km/h). It’ll have an electric-only range of 30 miles (48 km).
PSC Motors CEO Antonio Calva told Autocar that the production will begin in 2016 following a full preview of the car on June 1.
