Vectrix Launches VX-2 Electric Scooter

Vectrix LLC has launched its newest battery-electric scooter, the Vectrix VX-2.

The Vectrix VX-2 electric scooter is a smaller and slimmer version of ther VX-1 bike and is designed for lower-speed urban, neighborhood, and small-town trips. The VX-2 is the electric equivalent of a 50cc internal combustion engine scooter.

The Vectrix VX-2 is capable of speeds up to 30 mph with acceleration from 0 to 30 mph in 6 seconds. It has a range of 40 to 55 miles, depending on factors like terrain, weight, speed, etc.

The VX-2 comes standard with the patented Vectrix Multi-Function Throttle that provides regenerative braking and slow-speed reverse. Each VX-2 comes with a 48V/20A battery charger that plugs into a standard 110V/220V outlet and features a charge time of around 3.5 to 5 hours.

The battery pack has an estimated lifespan of 3 years.[wzslider height=”400″ lightbox=”true”]
