Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Spectre Series II, introducing a range of engineering upgrades, design refinements, and bespoke personalization options for its all-electric super-coupé.
Building on the success of the original Spectre, the updated model delivers greater driving range, improved charging performance, increased power output, and an expanded selection of luxury materials and finishes.
Since its launch in 2022, Spectre has become one of Rolls-Royce’s most important modern models, earning praise for its elegant design, near-silent driving experience, and effortless performance. The Series II update aims to enhance those qualities while maintaining the character that has helped establish Spectre as a future classic in the luxury automotive segment.
Up to 390 Miles of Range
One of the most significant upgrades for Spectre Series II is its improved efficiency. Thanks to advancements in battery cell technology, the electric coupé now offers up to 390 miles (WLTP) of driving range, representing an increase of up to 18% compared with the previous version.
Charging performance has also been enhanced, with charging times reduced by as much as 14%. The improvements reinforce Rolls-Royce’s commitment to delivering long-distance capability alongside the serene and effortless driving experience expected from the brand.
More Power for the World’s Most Powerful Rolls-Royce
Rolls-Royce engineers have recalibrated the electric drivetrain to provide stronger acceleration and greater responsiveness. Standard Spectre Series II now produces 442 kW and 1,015 Nm of torque.
For customers seeking maximum performance, the Black Badge Spectre Series II remains the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built. Infinity Mode unlocks up to 500 kW of power, while Spirited Mode boosts torque to an impressive 1,100 Nm.
The updates further strengthen Spectre’s position at the top of the ultra-luxury electric vehicle market, combining effortless performance with the refinement expected from the marque.
A New Chapter in Bespoke Luxury
Spectre has quickly become one of the most customized vehicles in the Rolls-Royce lineup. According to the company, demand for bespoke commissions on Spectre is second only to the iconic Phantom, with some owners requesting more than 20 unique personalized features.
The Series II introduces new materials, finishes, and craftsmanship options designed to support increasingly ambitious client commissions.
Among the highlights is Duality Twill, a sustainable rayon fabric made from bamboo. Inspired by the bamboo groves near Sir Henry Royce’s former winter residence on the French Riviera, the material features an embroidered graphic based on the intertwined “RR” initials of the company’s founders.
Creating a Duality Twill interior can require up to 2.6 million stitches, 10 miles of thread, and approximately 25 hours of craftsmanship. Customers can choose from more than 50 thread colors, allowing virtually limitless customization possibilities.
New Interior Design Features
Rolls-Royce has expanded the interior palette with several innovative design treatments.
A new Placed Perforation leather option creates artistic patterns inspired by moonlit clouds, using more than 78,000 precisely cut perforations across the seats and interior surfaces. When combined with illuminated door panels, the effect resembles starlight emerging through a night sky.
The company has also introduced a high-gloss Brindled Walnut veneer created from walnut sourced from non-fruiting trees and residual eucalyptus fibers. A unique finishing process incorporating glass flakes creates a shimmering effect that adds depth and visual movement to the wood surface.
A redesigned Illuminated Fascia now stretches across the dashboard, featuring 8,108 individual illuminated elements arranged in a flowing wave pattern. Complementing the new fascia is an updated timepiece inspired by aviation instruments, alongside an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy display.
Refined Exterior Design
While Spectre’s signature fastback silhouette remains unchanged, Rolls-Royce has introduced several new styling details for Series II.
A fresh exterior paint option called Ethereal Blue has been developed specifically for the model, highlighting the vehicle’s elegant body surfaces and sculpted proportions.
The new 23-inch forged alloy wheels feature an intricate multi-spoke design engineered to capture and reflect light from multiple angles. Each wheel undergoes up to six hours of hand-finishing and is offered in both part-polished and fully polished configurations.
Black Badge Gets a More Dramatic Look
The Black Badge Spectre Series II receives several exclusive design enhancements that further emphasize its bold personality.
A new Iced Black Exterior Detailing package replaces much of the brightwork with a sophisticated matte finish. Components including the grille surround, door handles, side trim, bumper inserts, and Spirit of Ecstasy receive a satin-like treatment, while the grille vanes remain polished to preserve the vehicle’s unmistakable identity.
Rolls-Royce has also developed a new seven-spoke wheel design for Black Badge models. Available in both traditional and Iced Matte Black finishes, the wheels feature embedded glass flakes that create a subtle sparkle effect while emphasizing the vehicle’s commanding stance.
A Luxury EV Clients Love to Drive
Spectre continues to attract strong demand globally and remained Rolls-Royce’s second best-selling model in 2025.
Interestingly, customer data shows that many owners use Spectre far more frequently than expected for an ultra-luxury coupé. While average annual mileage aligns with previous two-door Rolls-Royce models, some owners have accumulated more than 30,000 miles in just two years of ownership.
The findings suggest that Spectre’s combination of silent electric performance, home charging convenience, and effortless driving dynamics has made it a genuine daily-use luxury vehicle rather than simply a collector’s car.
The Evolution of an Electric Flagship
With greater range, improved charging performance, increased power, and an expanded suite of customization options, the Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II strengthens the appeal of one of the luxury EV market’s most distinctive offerings.
Rather than reinventing a successful formula, Rolls-Royce has focused on refining every aspect of the electric super-coupé. The result is a more capable, more personalized, and more technologically advanced Spectre that continues to define the future of ultra-luxury electric motoring.
