Polestar Charge Now Integrates Tesla Superchargers Across Europe. Polestar Charge Expands with Plug & Charge and Tesla Superchargers.

Polestar is continuing to expand and refine its public charging ecosystem across Europe, making EV charging simpler, faster, and more seamless for its drivers.

The brand now provides access to more than 28,000 Plug & Charge–compatible charging stations, while also fully integrating Tesla Superchargers directly into the Polestar Charge app.

Plug & Charge technology removes much of the friction traditionally associated with public charging. Instead of relying on apps, cards, or manual authentication, the vehicle communicates directly with the charging station, and payment is handled automatically. This hassle-free feature is included at no extra cost for Polestar Charge users and is currently available at nearly 1,000 compatible charging stations across the UK, including networks such as IONITY and Allego.

To further enhance the charging experience, Polestar has become one of the first automotive manufacturers to fully integrate Tesla Superchargers into its own charging platform. Drivers can now access over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across more than 1,500 locations in Europe directly through the Polestar Charge app.

There’s no need to switch between apps to check availability or initiate a charging session. Real-time Supercharger availability is also displayed in the vehicle’s Google Maps–powered navigation system, enabling smarter route planning and stress-free long-distance travel.

“With Polestar Charge, we give our customers access to one of the largest charging networks in Europe,” says Olivier Loedel, Head of Product Software Management at Polestar. “By expanding Plug & Charge functionality and fully integrating Tesla Superchargers, we’re further strengthening our premium, seamless charging experience. Combined with Google Maps integration in the car, our charging offer clearly sets us apart from many competitors.”

Overall, Polestar Charge now provides access to more than one million public charging points across Europe, all reachable through a single app. The service includes major regional charging operators such as IONITY, Recharge, Total, Fastned, Tesla Superchargers, and Allego, alongside numerous local providers to ensure comprehensive coverage in every market. Integration with Google Maps also allows drivers to plan optimized routes with smart charging stops and simplified payment along the way.

Polestar drivers can also opt for a Polestar Charge subscription, which offers discounted fast charging at over 80,000 charging points across 42 different charging operators. Adoption of the service continues to grow rapidly, with more than 45,000 active users in 2025 — representing a 30% increase compared to 2024.
