Karma grows European retail network by adding Karma Spain

Karma Automotive, the Southern California-based creator of luxury electric vehicles and high-tech incubator, today added Karma Spain to its growing European retail network.

The newest Karma dealership is located in Valencia, Spain and is the fourth addition to the brand’s newly-established European operations, with sites added in Sweden, France and the Netherlands. Karma Spain advances Karma’s rapidly expanding network of retailers, keeping the brand on track to grow its presence to five continents in 2020.

Karma Spain will be operated by Spania GTA, a leading motorsports car manufacturer that brings over 20 years of top automobile motorsport history in prestigious championships including European F3 Open, Superleague Formula and International Open GT. Spania GTA is also responsible for constructing the GTA Spano, a limited production supercar.

“Spania GTA is an important partner for Karma Automotive as we grow as a high-performance luxury automaker and technology incubator,” says Rogier Kroymans, Karma’s VP of European Sales and Network Development. “Their deep knowledge of European and Spanish motorsports renders them an ideal retailer for Karma’s luxury electric Revero and a strategic partner as Karma seeks like-minded innovators to collaborate upon future technologies.”

Karma has recently opened its resources in design, engineering, testing and validation, manufacturing and customization to other OEMs, startups and partners to develop unique products, technologies, solutions and services. A robust global retail network upheld by partners such as Spania GTA will play a key component in Karma’s future as both a luxury automaker and technology innovator.

“We are passionate about the modern technology that is present in today’s motorsport vehicles and strive to provide an exclusive, evolutionary driving experience to our customers,” says Domingo Ochoa, CEO of Spania GTA. “Karma’s extended range electric vehicles, combined with soul-stirring automotive design and intelligent technology, offers our customers sustainable, performance-oriented luxury vehicles with a personalized ownership experience.”

The Revero is Karma’s original luxury electric vehicle powered by dual electric motors. It features an efficient four-cylinder turbocharged engine which powers an on-board electric generator and enhances overall vehicle performance. Each Revero is built largely by hand at Karma’s Innovation and Customization Center (KICC), its manufacturing facility in Moreno Valley, Calif. Karma Spain will offer a strictly limited number of examples of the automaker’s luxury electric Revero in line with the company’s international expansion plans, ahead of future products arriving in the region.
