Nissan has revealed pricing for the all-new fourth-generation Rogue Hybrid in the U.S., bringing a distinctive hybrid powertrain and a long list of new technology to one of the company’s most important SUVs.
Previously referred to as the Rogue e-Power, the new model will be sold in the U.S. simply as the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid. Pricing starts at $37,065, including the $1,575 destination charge, while the range-topping Rogue Hybrid Platinum AWD reaches $45,065.
The new Rogue arrives as demand for hybrid vehicles continues to grow in the U.S. While Nissan is entering the market later than some of its biggest competitors, the Rogue Hybrid takes a different approach to hybrid power.

The 2027 Rogue Hybrid will initially be offered exclusively with all-wheel drive. The lineup includes five configurations, with prices ranging from just over $37,000 to more than $45,000 including $1,575 in destination charges.

A Hybrid That Drives More Like an EV
One of the biggest differences between the Rogue Hybrid and many competing hybrid SUVs is its powertrain.
The Rogue Hybrid uses Nissan’s series-hybrid approach, meaning the gasoline engine does not mechanically drive the wheels. Instead, the engine acts as a generator, producing electricity for the battery and electric motors.
The wheels are driven exclusively by electric motors.
The system uses a relatively small 2.0-kWh battery pack, which is charged by the 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and through regenerative braking. Because it is a conventional non-plug-in hybrid, drivers do not need to connect the Rogue to an external charger.
This setup is designed to provide an EV-like driving experience while retaining the convenience of a gasoline engine for longer trips.
Nissan says the 2027 Rogue Hybrid will deliver more than 40 mpg, although final EPA fuel-economy ratings have not been released.
Fuel efficiency is becoming increasingly important for buyers considering compact SUVs, particularly as hybrid models continue to offer a middle ground between traditional gasoline vehicles and fully electric SUVs.
New Rogue Gets More Technology
The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid also receives a significant technology upgrade.
A 14.3-inch infotainment display will be standard on the Platinum trim and available on the SR. Other Rogue Hybrid trims will receive a 12.3-inch screen.
The infotainment system includes Google built-in, with Gemini support, bringing Google’s services and AI capabilities directly into the vehicle.
Nissan is also equipping the Rogue with its latest ProPILOT Assist driver-assistance technology. Depending on configuration, the system can provide features such as automatic lane changes and supervised hands-off driving in certain traffic situations.
These features are intended to make highway driving less demanding while adding more advanced driver assistance to the Rogue lineup.
When Does the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid Go on Sale?
The rollout of the new Rogue Hybrid will happen in stages.
Only the Rogue Hybrid SR AWD with the SR Technology Package will be available this fall. The remaining configurations are scheduled to arrive by early 2027.
That means shoppers interested in the new hybrid SUV will have to wait for the full lineup to reach dealerships.
