Leapmotor Surpasses 100,000 Monthly EV Deliveries for the First Time

Leapmotor has achieved a major milestone, delivering 101,267 electric vehicles worldwide in July 2026—the first time the Chinese EV manufacturer has exceeded the 100,000-unit monthly delivery mark. The record-breaking performance represents a 102.01% year-over-year increase and further cements the Stellantis-backed automaker’s position among the fastest-growing electric vehicle brands.

The July result also marks the company’s fourth consecutive monthly delivery record and fifth straight month of sequential growth, with deliveries rising 8.45% from the 93,376 vehicles delivered in June.

Leapmotor Continues Strong Growth in 2026

During the first seven months of 2026, Leapmotor delivered 457,754 vehicles globally, representing a 68.42% increase compared to the same period last year.

Since shipping its first vehicle in June 2019, the company has now delivered over 1,690,000 vehicles, highlighting its rapid rise in China’s highly competitive electric vehicle market.

The July achievement also makes Leapmotor the first Chinese new-generation EV startup to surpass 100,000 monthly vehicle deliveries, underscoring growing consumer demand and strengthening its position in the global EV industry.

Still Chasing Its One-Million Vehicle Target

Despite the record-breaking month, Leapmotor still faces a challenging road toward its ambitious 1 million vehicle delivery target for 2026.

With 457,754 vehicles delivered through July, the company has reached approximately 45.8% of its annual goal. To achieve the target, Leapmotor will need to deliver roughly 542,246 additional vehicles over the final five months of the year—an average of approximately 108,449 vehicles per month, slightly above its current record pace.

New Models Drive Sales Momentum

Leapmotor continues expanding its lineup to sustain rapid growth.

In June, the automaker introduced refreshed versions of the C10, C11 and C16, while also launching its first MPV, the D99.

July brought additional product launches, including the updated B01 sedan and B10 SUV, priced from 95,800 yuan (approximately $14,100) and 99,800 yuan, respectively. Long-range variants of both models feature an 800-volt fast-charging architecture, offering significantly quicker charging times.

The company also opened pre-orders for the new A05 compact electric vehicle, its second model built on the A platform after the A10. The A05 will compete directly against popular affordable EVs such as the BYD Dolphin and Geely Xingyuan, targeting one of China’s most competitive market segments.

Leapmotor management previously stated that the new A-series models, including the A10 and A05, are expected to account for around 60% of total company sales during 2026.
