OMODA 7 SHS-P Noble Tech Adds Remote Parking and Sliding Screen

The fast-growing Chinese challenger brand Omoda is doubling down on tech-led value in the UK with a new flagship trim for its plug-in hybrid SUV.

The OMODA 7 SHS-P Noble Tech introduces remote parking capability and a sliding infotainment display—features typically reserved for premium segments—at a notably accessible price point.

Priced from £35,505 OTR, the Noble Tech sits £500 above the existing Noble trim and goes on sale in June 2026, with first customer deliveries expected by the end of the month. It becomes the new top specification in the OMODA 7 SHS-P line-up, which starts from £32,005 for the Knight trim (and £29,965 for the petrol range).

Backed by a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty (plus an eight-year battery warranty for SHS variants), the new grade strengthens OMODA’s value proposition as it scales rapidly across the UK via a 130+ retailer network.

Remote Parking Assistance: a segment-first for the brand

A headline addition is Remote Parking Assistance (RPA)—a first for both Omoda and its sister marque Jaecoo in the UK. The system allows drivers to stand outside the vehicle and guide it into or out of tight spaces using the key fob.

Designed for real-world usability, RPA supports parallel parking, perpendicular bays and angled spaces.

The result is reduced stress in confined environments and more precise low-speed manoeuvring—particularly useful in crowded urban settings.

Sliding 15.6-inch display redefines cabin interaction

Inside, the Noble Tech introduces a 15.6-inch ultra-thin (12.7mm) sliding infotainment screen with a crisp 2.5K resolution. Unlike fixed displays, this unit can glide from the centre of the dashboard to directly in front of the passenger.

This flexible layout enables:

– Passenger control of media, navigation and climate
– A more immersive co-driver experience
– Enhanced usability on longer journeys

It’s a subtle but meaningful shift toward a more adaptable, shared in-car digital environment.

Premium features carried over from Noble trim

The Noble Tech builds on an already well-equipped base. Standard features include:

– 12-speaker Sony audio system
– Heated and ventilated front seats
– Six-way electric seat adjustment
– 1.45-metre panoramic sunroof
– 20-inch alloy wheels

Also included is OMODA’s integrated air fragrance system, offering three scents—Forest Bath, Charming Air and Black Temptation—with adjustable intensity levels and air filtration including pollen filtering.

Plug-in hybrid performance and efficiency

Under the skin, the OMODA 7 SHS-P Noble Tech uses the Super Hybrid System developed by parent company Chery. The setup combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine [aired with an 18.3 kWh battery .

Key figures include:

– 204 PS and 365 Nm of torque
– 0–62 mph in 8.4 seconds
– Up to 56 miles of electric-only driving
– Over 700 miles total range
– CO₂ emissions of just 23 g/km

This positions the model as a highly efficient long-range PHEV, appealing to both urban EV-style driving and longer-distance flexibility.

Strong UK momentum for OMODA & JAECOO

The launch arrives amid rapid growth for the dual-brand operation. In April 2026 alone, OMODA and JAECOO recorded a combined 7,152 UK registrations, with OMODA contributing 3,275 units and achieving a 2.19% market share.

Year-to-date registrations have reached 35,113, underlining strong demand for a line-up that spans petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric models.
