The updated Jeep Avenger marks the next phase in the evolution of one of Europe’s most successful compact SUVs. Following its recognition as the 2023 European Car of the Year, the Avenger has already attracted over 270,000 orders, with electrified versions accounting for the majority.
Now, the refreshed model builds on that momentum with sharper design, improved technology, and a broader powertrain lineup—strengthening its position in the highly competitive B-SUV segment.
A Compact SUV With Broad Appeal
Measuring just over four metres in length, the Jeep Avenger distills more than eight decades of Jeep heritage into a city-friendly footprint. Designed and built in Europe, it combines everyday usability with genuine off-road capability—an uncommon mix in this class.
Its appeal spans a wide audience, with a growing share of younger drivers and female buyers helping drive strong demand across key European markets. In fact, the Avenger has already become one of the best-selling SUVs in Italy.
Design Evolution: Rugged Meets Modern
The latest Avenger introduces subtle but meaningful design updates. At the front, the iconic seven-slot grille now features LED backlighting, creating a distinctive signature at night and aligning it with newer Jeep models.
Practicality remains central to the design philosophy. Protective cladding, reinforced bumpers, and moulded skid plates are engineered to withstand minor impacts, while new alloy wheel designs and fresh colour options—including Forest and Bamboo—enhance visual appeal.
Inside, material quality takes a step forward with softer door panels and a more refined dashboard. Storage remains a highlight, with up to 34 litres of interior compartments and a versatile 380-litre boot.
Real Capability, Not Just Styling
Unlike many compact crossovers, the Avenger retains authentic off-road credentials. Even front-wheel-drive versions benefit from optimized approach, breakover, and departure angles, along with up to 210 mm of ground clearance.
Standard features such as Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control ensure confidence across challenging surfaces. The new 4xe all-wheel-drive variant takes capability further, delivering impressive torque distribution for steep inclines and low-grip conditions.
On the road, new LED matrix headlights improve night visibility by automatically adjusting beam patterns, while a 360-degree camera system simplifies parking and reduces the risk of minor damage.
Powertrain Choice: Petrol, Hybrid, AWD and Electric
One of the Avenger’s biggest strengths is flexibility. Buyers can choose from a full spectrum of powertrains:
– A 100 hp petrol engine with manual transmission for a traditional driving feel
– A 110 hp e-Hybrid with automatic dual-clutch gearbox and 48V system
– A 145 hp 4xe all-wheel-drive setup combining combustion and electric power
– A fully electric version producing 156 hp with a 54 kWh battery
The electric Avenger delivers up to 248 miles (WLTP) of range, with fast charging up to 100 kW DC, making it a strong contender for urban and suburban EV buyers.
Technology and Connectivity
Every Avenger comes well-equipped, reflecting Jeep’s push toward higher tech standards across its lineup. A 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, along with over-the-air updates.
Drivers can also access remote functions via the Jeep mobile app, including vehicle location, locking, battery monitoring, and climate pre-conditioning.
Additional features such as cruise control, automatic climate control, and full-LED lighting are included across the range, reinforcing the Avenger’s value proposition.

85th Anniversary Special Edition
To celebrate Jeep’s heritage, a dedicated 85th Anniversary edition adds exclusive styling elements. Exterior highlights include gold-finish accents, special badging, and unique bonnet decals, while the interior features tartan upholstery and bespoke detailing.
This version also comes generously equipped, with LED matrix headlights, a 360-degree camera, and enhanced ambient lighting as standard.
Market Launch and Positioning
Orders for the updated Jeep Avenger are expected to open in late summer 2026, with pricing and full trim details to be announced closer to launch.
With its blend of compact dimensions, genuine capability, and diverse powertrain options—including a fully electric variant—the new Avenger is well positioned to remain a key player in Europe’s fast-growing B-SUV segment.
