Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric Now Starts at £33,245 with Full UK Electric Car Grant

The Renault Scenic E-Tech electric is now more affordable in the UK, with Renault confirming that the family-focused EV qualifies for the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant (ECG). That brings the starting price down to £33,245, making the award-winning model an even stronger option in the growing electric family car segment.

The latest pricing update strengthens Renault’s position in the UK EV market, where the brand now offers one of the broadest electric lineups eligible for government incentives.

Renault Scenic E-Tech electric pricing with the full ECG applied is as follows:

– techno: from £33,245
– techno esprit Alpine: from £36,245
– iconic esprit Alpine: from £38,245

The Scenic joins the Renault 4 E-Tech electric and Renault 5 E-Tech electric as Renault models eligible for the maximum grant. Meanwhile, the Renault Megane E-Tech electric and smaller-battery versions of the Renault 5 also qualify for a £1,500 incentive.

Long Range and Practical Family Appeal

Designed for everyday usability, the Scenic E-Tech electric combines efficiency, comfort, and modern tech in a practical family-friendly package.

The model features a 220hp electric motor, an 87kWh battery pack and up to 381 miles of WLTP range.

This combination gives the Scenic one of the more competitive driving ranges in its class, while Renault’s cabin tech and driver-focused features help it stand out in the busy electric crossover market.

Sustainability Helped Unlock the Full Grant

Renault’s eligibility for the maximum ECG support was confirmed after proving that battery production for the Scenic uses 100% renewable energy at supplier LG Energy Solution’s plant in Poland.

Battery cells and modules are then assembled into the Scenic at Renault’s factory in Douai, part of the company’s ElectriCity manufacturing hub in northern France. The site has been developed with a strong focus on low-emission production and sustainable manufacturing standards.

This grant approval highlights how environmental supply chain improvements are becoming increasingly important in determining EV affordability and incentive eligibility.

Renault’s EV Momentum Continues in the UK

According to Renault UK, the brand’s EV registrations rose 87% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026. Strong demand for newer electric models, along with growing confidence in government-backed EV support, has helped accelerate sales.

Renault says that one in three new vehicles it now sells in the UK is fully electric — a sign that buyers are increasingly prioritising practical, well-equipped EVs with competitive pricing.

With its newly reduced entry price, generous range, and sustainability credentials, the Renault Scenic E-Tech electric is now positioned as one of the most compelling family EV options available in the UK.
