Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric Debuts with Striking Design and Up to 669 km Range

The all-new Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric marks a bold step in Porsche’s electrification strategy, blending the brand’s signature performance DNA with SUV practicality. Unveiled at Auto China 2026, the coupe variant introduces a more emotional, sport-focused take on the electric Cayenne lineup.

Inspired by the unmistakable silhouette of the Porsche 911, the Cayenne Coupe Electric features the brand’s iconic “flyline” roof profile. From the A-pillar backward, the model adopts a distinct design, including a bespoke windscreen and a sloping roofline that enhances both aesthetics and aerodynamics.

Sleeker Design Improves Efficiency

The coupe’s sculpted form is not just about looks. With a drag coefficient of 0.23 (compared to 0.25 for the SUV), the improved aerodynamics contribute to greater efficiency and extended driving range. Depending on the variant, the Cayenne Coupe Electric delivers up to 669 km (WLTP)—an increase of up to 18 km over its SUV counterpart.

Active aerodynamic features, including adaptive cooling flaps and a rear spoiler, optimize airflow in real time, balancing performance and efficiency.

Performance: Three Electric Powertrains

At launch, Porsche offers three powertrain options, each delivering impressive performance figures:

– Cayenne Coupe Electric: 300 kW (408 PS), up to 325 kW with Launch Control, 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds
– Cayenne S Coupe Electric: 400 kW (544 PS), up to 490 kW with Launch Control, 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds
– Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric: 630 kW (857 PS), up to 850 kW with Launch Control, 0–100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds

Top speeds range from 230 km/h to 260 km/h, placing the Turbo variant among the fastest electric SUVs on the market.

Fast Charging with 800V Architecture

Built on an advanced 800-volt electrical system, the Cayenne Coupe Electric supports ultra-fast DC charging at up to 390 kW, with peaks reaching 400 kW under optimal conditions. This enables significantly reduced charging times on compatible high-power chargers.

AC charging is supported at up to 11 kW as standard, with an optional 22 kW onboard charger available.

Sporty Yet Practical

Despite its more aggressive roofline, the Cayenne Coupe Electric maintains strong everyday usability. The model measures 4,985 mm in length and 1,980 mm in width, while sitting 24 mm lower than the SUV version for a sportier stance.

Cargo capacity ranges from 534 to 1,347 liters, complemented by a 90-liter front trunk. Rear seating configurations include both two-seat and 2+1 layouts, with electrically adjustable seats enhancing comfort and flexibility.

Notably, the coupe retains a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes, and an optional off-road package is available for added versatility.

Advanced Chassis and Driving Dynamics

The standard setup includes adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Higher trims can be equipped with the advanced Porsche Active Ride system, designed to deliver superior ride comfort and dynamic handling.

Rear-axle steering, with up to five degrees of steering angle, further enhances agility and stability.

High-Tech Interior and Equipment

Inside, the Cayenne Coupe Electric adopts Porsche’s latest driver-focused digital cockpit. A fully digital instrument cluster, central display, optional passenger screen, and augmented reality head-up display create a modern and connected environment.

Customization is a key focus, with configurable widgets, themes, and third-party app integration providing a personalized user experience.

Standard equipment is more generous than the SUV version, including a panoramic glass roof and the Sport Chrono Package.

Optional Lightweight Sport Package

For drivers seeking maximum performance, the optional Lightweight Sport package reduces weight by up to 17.6 kg. It adds a carbon fiber roof, lightweight components, 22-inch wheels, and high-performance tires.

Interior upgrades include Race-Tex materials, carbon trim, and the classic Pepita seat pattern, reinforcing the model’s sporty character.

A More Emotional Electric SUV

With its combination of striking design, high-performance electric drivetrains, and everyday practicality, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric positions itself as one of the most compelling electric SUVs in the premium segment.
