CUPRA Raval Priced from £23,785 as Brand Expands Electric Line-up

CUPRA has confirmed UK pricing for the all-new CUPRA Raval, positioning the compact EV as one of the most affordable and distinctive electric city cars on the market. Starting at £23,785 (OTR), the Raval combines bold styling, engaging performance and next-generation technology in a package aimed at urban drivers.

Arriving in the UK this summer, the Raval marks a key step in CUPRA’s electric expansion. Built on the advanced MEB+ platform, the new model promises improved efficiency, faster charging and enhanced driving dynamics.

Design and Positioning

The CUPRA Raval has been developed to challenge traditional expectations in the small EV segment. Its sharp, expressive design and sporty stance give it a clear identity, helping it stand out in a crowded field of electric hatchbacks.

Despite its compact footprint, the model aims to deliver a more emotional driving experience than typical city-focused EVs.

Battery Options, Performance and Range

CUPRA offers the Raval with multiple battery and powertrain configurations across four trims: Origin, V1, V2 and VZ.

The entry-level Origin variant features a 37kWh battery producing 115PS, targeting affordability and urban efficiency. Moving up, the V1 and V2 trims provide greater flexibility, with a choice between a 37kWh battery (135PS) and a larger 52kWh unit delivering 210PS.

The 52kWh version stands out with a claimed range of up to 280 miles and rapid charging capability, allowing a 10% to 80% top-up in just 23 minutes—making it highly competitive for daily use and longer journeys.

At the top of the range, the VZ model is focused on performance. Equipped exclusively with the 52kWh battery, it produces 225PS and offers around 250 miles of range. Performance enhancements such as an electronic limited-slip differential and Dynamic Chassis Control underline its sporty character.

Full UK Pricing

– Origin 37kWh 115PS – £23,785
– V1 37kWh 135PS – £26,995
– V2 37kWh 135PS – £29,580
– V1 52kWh 210PS – £29,995
– V2 52kWh 210PS – £32,580
– V2 Launch Edition 52kWh 210PS – £32,580
– VZ 52kWh 225PS – £34,995
– VZ Extreme 52kWh 225PS – £36,310

A New Benchmark for Affordable Performance EVs

According to CUPRA UK leadership, the Raval represents a major milestone for the brand, bringing performance-oriented electric mobility to a broader audience. With competitive pricing, strong range figures and fast charging, the model is set to play a key role in accelerating EV adoption in the compact segment.

As competition intensifies among affordable electric cars, the CUPRA Raval enters the market with a clear focus: delivering style, performance and usability without pushing beyond mainstream budgets.
