Milence unveils new market-based pricing and further network expansion at SOLUTRANS 2025

Milence, the joint venture between Daimler Truck, the TRATON GROUP and the Volvo Group, announced the introduction of a market-based pricing model at SOLUTRANS 2025.

Milence now operates 30 public charging hubs across eight European countries, including ten in France. These hubs connect major logistics routes, linking the ports of Le Havre, Dunkirk, and Calais with Paris, Belgium, and Germany, and connecting Barcelona to Lyon. Each hub combines reliable, high-power charging with secure driver facilities and 24/7 accessibility creating the backbone for sustainable, cross-border freight transport.

Competitive pricing supporting viable fleet electrification

From the start of operations, Milence has offered competitive pan-European pricing to accelerate early market adoption. A logical next step is now the introduction of market-based, country-specific pricing. This change reflects variations in local energy costs, taxes and grid fees, aligns with EU policy and industry best practice, and ensures fair, transparent and sustainable pricing across all markets. The new pricing will take effect on 1 January 2026.

The pricing structure comes with a decrease in some key markets like France and Spain where the new base tariff will be € 0.339 /kWh (ex-VAT). Full overview:

Country & New Base Tariff (ex-VAT)

– Netherlands – € 0.399 /kWh
– Germany – € 0.399 /kWh
– Belgium – € 0.379 /kWh
– Italy – € 0.399 /kWh
– Spain – € 0.339 /kWh
– France – € 0.339 /kWh
– UK – £ 0.399 /kWh
– Denmark – 2.799 DKK /kWh
– Sweden – 3.699 SEK /kWh

Our updated pricing strategy will enable fleet operators of all sizes to benefit from volume-based agreements. By introducing a more flexible structure, we support predictable cost management and improved Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), contributing to sustainable market growth.

All updated tariffs and customer information will be communicated across Milence’s digital channels and onsite ahead of the effective date.

Building Europe’s largest public network

Milence remains committed to building one of Europe’s largest public charging network for electric heavy-duty vehicles and offering the fastest charging technology including the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) already operational at the Milence hubs located at Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Zwolle and Landvetter.
