Zeekr 7X electric SUV launched in China. Zeekr received over 58,000 orders for the Zeekr 7X after its debut at Chengdu Motor Show 20 days ago.

Geely Group’s premium electric vehicle brand Zeekr announced the launch of the Zeekr 7X, a premium electric five-seater SUV designed for global families.

Defying the conventional design with an emphasis on a long dash-to-axle at the expense of cabin room, the Zeekr 7X strikes a balance between a sleek, sporty exterior and a spacious interior. Inside, the Zeekr 7X redefines rear-seat luxury with unparalleled comfort and sophistication. Upholstered in premium NAPPA full-grain leather, the seats deliver both a soft touch and superior support. Enhanced by 14 functions, including heating, ventilation, and six spa-grade massage settings, the Zeekr 7X elevates the standard of comfort and refinement for electric SUVs.

Safety is always a top priority for Zeekr, and Zeekr’s safety standards have evolved and continuously upgraded to meet the highest global benchmarks. On top of advanced airbag settings and car bodies with high-strength steel bars, Zeekr has developed the world’s first child smart safety seat with active airbags, providing maximum protection for children’s safety. Furthermore, to address urban flooding and the dangers of water ingress, the Zeekr 7X introduces an industry-first feature that allows users to quickly and easily break a car window with a simple press of a hidden button in emergencies. This function comes standard in the Zeekr 7X.

Despite its luxury and comfort inside, the Zeekr 7X is not just a city dweller. With its double wishbone and air suspension, its ground clearance can reach an impressive 230mm, readying for users’ off-road adventures into the wild. By the way, it is the world’s first pure electric SUV to conquer Bilutu Peak – the highest fixed dune on Earth.

For drivers who appreciate Zeekr’s remarkable acceleration, the Zeekr 7X is equipped with silicon carbide-powered e-motors, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds.

Built on an enhanced 800V electrical system, the Zeekr 7X offers two battery options for different driving needs: a 75kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery for a driving range of 605 kilometers (CLTC). The longer-range variant carries a 100kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack to extend the driving range to 780 kilometers (CLTC). Notably, the LFP batteries developed by Zeekr engineers boast the world’s fastest charging capability, charging vehicles from 10% to 80% SoC in just 10.5 minutes.

The starting price of the Zeekr 7X in China is RMB 229,900 yuan (about 29,300 euros). Deliveries of the Zeekr 7X are set to roll out in China by the end of September, followed by the launch in global markets within a year.
