PEUGEOT E-3008 priced from £45,850 in the UK

PEUGEOT UK has announced that its new all-electric fastback SUV, the E-3008, is now open for orders.

The latest addition to PEUGEOT’s all-electric model range will be the first model to use Stellantis’ brand-new ‘BEV by Design’ STLA-M electric powertrain, designed to offer best-in-class performance to meet customers’ needs. Thanks to the STLA-M platform, the new E-3008 will be launched with a single 157kW (210hp) electric motor and a useable 73kWh, 400V lithium-ion battery, capable of a range of up to 326 miles (WLTP).

The new E-3008 is capable of developing 343Nm of torque, charging from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes from a 160kW charger, and is available in two trim levels, Allure and GT. A self-charging hybrid powertrain is also available, priced from £34,650 OTR MRRP and powered by a 136hp 1.2L PureTech petrol engine twinned with a 16kW electric motor and a 48V battery to offer increased efficiency and reduced emissions.

The new E-3008 will supersede the best-selling PEUGEOT 3008, a car which has charmed more than 1,320,000 customers in 130 countries for seven years. By 2025, PEUGEOT will offer a complete EV line-up, and by 2030, 100% of the brand’s sales in Europe will be electric.

The new E-3008’s aerodynamic fastback SUV styling makes it immediately recognisable, combining elegance, efficiency and spaciousness (4.54m Long, 1.90m Wide, 1.64m High). The E-3008 remains one of the most compact cars in the 100% electric SUV market, while still providing ample passenger and modular luggage space in its spacious cabin. With an all-new front-end design featuring PEUGEOT’s distinctive new three-claw lighting signature, the ultra-compact LED headlamps and grille are complimented by a sweeping aerodynamic and feline profile which highlights the modernity and unique personality of the E-3008. Diamond-cut alloy wheels, in either 19” or 20”, further emphasise the E-3008’s status as a stylish and efficient fastback SUV.

In addition, a new 21” high-definition panoramic curved display which appears to float is standard in the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, while the cabin’s aesthetics and cutting-edge technology are enhanced by the ambient LED lighting, which can be customised in eight different colours and adapts to different drive modes. A new compact and ergonomic steering wheel with new controls heightens the feeling of modernity, and PEUGEOT’s Air Quality System (AQS) ensures that the cabin is a refreshing and calming place to be. Both Allure and GT models feature a customisable virtual ‘i-Toggle’ display, dual-zone climate control with ‘Quick Launch’ function, an electrochrome rearview mirror, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, wireless smartphone charging and wireless Mirrorscreen (Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto). Allure models feature dynamic front seats with embossed, quartz-stitched fabric; whilst GT models benefit from heated front seats trimmed with Alcantara® and a heated leather steering wheel finished with an iced clay stitch.

The new E-3008 comes with a suite of driver aids to ensure a smooth driving experience including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, lane keep assist, and speed limit detection. The E-3008 also features the latest PEUGEOT active safety technologies, such as automatic emergency braking with collision warning, lane departure warning, driver attention alert, long-range blind spot monitoring and Advanced Traction Control.

Drivers benefit from a choice of three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – whilst three levels of regenerative braking allow drivers to optimise their range through energy recovery. The E-3008 comes as standard with an 11kW three-phase onboard charger. At home using a typical 7.4 kW charger the battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in 8 hours.

The new E-3008 is available to order from PEUGEOT Retailers or via PEUGEOT’s Buy Online platform. Buy Online allows customers to configure, finance, and order their next vehicle entirely from the comfort of their home, as well as obtain a part-exchange valuation on their current vehicle.

On Personal Contract Purchase, the new 3008 can be had from £379 per month with a £5,777 customer deposit over 37 months and 6,000 miles per annum at 7.5% APR. With the same term and mileage, the new all-electric E-3008 is available at 2.5% APR from £479 a month with a £5,994 customer deposit.

Prices for the new 3008 HYBRID start from £34,650, and £45,850 for the E-3008. Full pricing can be found below.
