VinFast Delivers First VF 5 Plus Small SUVs To Vietnamese Customers

VinFast officially delivered the first VF 5 Plus models to its customers.  As the most economical model in VinFast’s lineup, VinFast VF 5 Plus aims to rapidly increase the popularity of smart electric vehicles in Vietnam by targeting the broadest range of consumers.

The VF 5 Plus is a strategic model and the fourth one in VinFast’s EV lineup. It was open for reservations from December 2022. Within 9 hours since the opening, the VF 5 Plus received over 3,000 reservations, with 80% converting to preorders. This impressive response can be attributed to its affordable price of only VND 458 million (approximate USD 19,500) and numerous outstanding smart features.

Belonging to the A-SUV segment, the VF 5 Plus possesses a modern, youthful, stylish design with 35 interior and exterior color mixes, ensuring personalization satisfying every customers lifestyle, personality, and preferences. The vehicle also comes with many advanced technologies and outstanding smart features such as Self-diagnosis; Intrusion Alert; Vietnamese Q&A with the Virtual Assistant; Over-the-air Updates; Standard Cruise Control; Door Open Warning; Rear Cross Traffic Alert; Blind Spot Detection; Rear Parking Assist, and more.

In terms of performance, the VF 5 Plus features an electric motor that packs 100 kW of maximum power, 135 Nm of maximum torque, and a 37.23-kWh lithium battery pack, enabling a driving range of more than 300 km per every full change (NEDC.)

Despite its competent performance and high quality, the VF 5 Plus is VinFasts most affordable model, with a price tag of VND 458 million (approximate USD 19,500), excluding battery cost. The monthly fixed battery subscription fee is VND 1.6 million (approximate USD 68), excluding charging costs. The price of VinFast VF 5 Plus with the battery included is VND 538 million (approximate USD 22,900). All prices are inclusive of VAT.

The VF 5 Plus also comes with outstanding aftersales, including a 7-year (or 140,000-km) warranty policy (whichever comes first), 24/7 Mobile Charging, 24/7 Mobile Service, 24/7 roadside assistance, nationwide “non-stop” service workshop system, and much more. Moreover, VF 5 Plus owners can access a charging network of 150,000 charging ports for electric cars and scooters, an extensive system of VinFast’s stores and service workshops together with dealers’ service covering 63 provinces and cities throughout Vietnam.
