Electrify America Announces Three Years of Complimentary 30-Minute Charging for 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 Customers. First owners of the Electrified GV70 Provided with Complimentary 30-Minute Charging Sessions via the Electrify America Mobile App.

Electrify America announced an agreement with Genesis Motor America to offer three years of 30-minute complimentary charging sessions for first owners of their all-new luxury Electrified GV70 SUV.

First owners of model year 2023 Electrified GV70 will have access to hyper-fast charging on Electrify America’s coast-to-coast charging network from the date of their vehicle purchase. Additionally, Electrified GV70 owners can seamlessly locate, and access charging stations on the go via the Electrify America mobile app.

“Through our collaborations with leading automakers such as Genesis, we continue to build trust and help advance the electric vehicle revolution through hyper-fast charging experiences for EV drivers” said Rob Barrosa, vice president technology of Electrify America. “By providing three years of complimentary 30-minute charging sessions to new GV70 owners, we’re taking a step closer to creating an electric transportation future that benefits both drivers and communities across the U.S.”

Electrified GV70 owners can access charging benefits through the user-friendly Electrify America mobile app, which allows customers to locate a charger, initiate a charge and track charging sessions. With charging speeds from 150kW to 350kW – the fastest charging speeds available today – Electrify America’s hyper-fast network will enable owners of the Genesis GV70 to charge with confidence.

“As we take this next step into our fully-electrified future with our third EV model, Genesis is pleased to be collaborating with Electrify America to deliver convenient charging solutions to our customers,” said Claudia Marquez, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America.

Electrify America continues to drive EV adoption forward while building driver confidence by rapidly expanding its fast-charging network, which currently has 800 charging stations comprised of about 3,500 individual chargers open or with construction completed.
