Mercedes-Benz eVito Tourer and EQV now available with 60kWh battery variant

For more than a year now, the eVito Tourer has proven itself to be a specialist in locally emission-free commercial passenger transport tasks and in doing so has demonstrated its suitability for daily operations with battery electric vans from Mercedes-Benz – be that as a hotel shuttle vehicle, a high-capacity taxi or a vehicle for on-demand mobility concepts in public transport.

As an alternative to the eVito Tourer with a 90kWh usable battery capacity, Mercedes‑Benz Vans now also offers the eVito Tourer in a further variant equipped with a usable battery capacity of 60kWh. This will open up greater possibilities for commercial customers in particular to find the right vehicle version to suit their intended operations and their business model. The new variant of the eVito Tourer is thus interesting for customers who cover easy-to-plan routes or who only drive short distances, such as in school transport operations. It is also interesting for those looking for an affordable starting price or for whom a weight saving of 150 kg and the corresponding payload increase would be useful.

The range of the eVito Tourer with a 60kWh battery is 217-239 km. The standard fast charging function offers a charging output of 50kW, and as an option 80kW are also possible. In this case, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 % in around 35 minutes.

Mercedes-Benz EQV: the people carrier for families and sports enthusiasts with lots of luggage

Environmentally friendly families or sports enthusiasts who prefer having extra space for luggage or heavy equipment and thus who need a greater payload, or those who mostly use the vehicle for short to medium distances, now also have the option to order the EQV 250 with 60kWh usable battery capacity. The range here is 213‑236 km and the 80kW fast charging function already comes as standard on the EQV 250, as do high-quality interior appointments such as the innovative MBUX infotainment system.

Those who are interested in the vehicle but who are unsure as to which variant is the perfect solution for them or whether the lower battery capacity is actually sufficient can use the EQ Ready app free of charge to carry out an analysis and determine their mobility behaviour.
