Volkswagen Canada announced that it will provide three years of unlimited, complimentary ultra-fast charging from the date of purchase for new owners of the all-electric 2021 VW ID.4, on the Electrify Canada network.
The news comes just weeks after Electrify Canada announced plans to expand its network of ultra-fast chargers from 27 stations with 108 chargers to more than 100 charging stations comprising over 500 individual chargers across Canada by the end of 2025. The expansion also builds the network coverage from four to nine provinces, facilitating travel from Halifax, Nova Scotia in the east to Victoria, British Columbia in the west.
With 150 kilowatts (kW) and 350kW chargers, Electrify Canada can provide capable electric vehicles with some of the fastest charging available in the country, allowing for more time on the road and less time spent charging. Volkswagen’s first all-electric SUV, paired with Electrify Canada’s fast charging technology, will allow drivers of the all-new ID.4 to charge from 5 percent to 80 percent in about 38 minutes.

Customers can rely on Electrify Canada’s 24-hour Customer Contact Centre for support and can manage their charging session with the user-friendly Electrify Canada mobile app enabling charger locating and session tracking on their smart phone.
