Volkswagen ID.3 made even more practical and stylish with range of bespoke accessories

A range of accessories has been launched for the ID.3, boosting the model’s practicality, usability and style. The accessories are available now from all Volkswagen Retailers via a lockdown-friendly system over the phone or, alternatively, socially distanced at a retailer.

The first of these accessories is an assortment of protection packs, comprising floor mats, a loadliner and load sill protector. Available to order are packs bespoke to the City, Life, Business and Tech group of trim levels, as well as Family, Tour and Max models, which are equipped with a variable boot floor. These packs are available with either carpet or rubber floor mats, and are priced at £204 (RRP fitted, including VAT) for the carpet mat set and £188 for the pack with rubber mats.

Those wanting to customise the exterior of their ID.3 can also do so with a set of high-quality door mirror caps. Compatible with the ID.3 1ST Edition, City, Life, Business and Family, the mirror caps complement the ID.3’s exterior style for a sleeker look. This item is available in High-gloss Black and Carbon Look finishes. Including fitting, this item costs £181 and £191.50 respectively per set. These are available alongside an animated LED mirror turn signal (£247 including fitting) and dark-tinted lens, which can be specified as the Style Pack bundle (£428, including fitting).

The ID.3 is capable of carrying three bicycles at the rear, thanks to the Compact III Bicycle Carrier (maximum bicycle wheelbase of up to 125 cm). The carrier attaches to the car’s transport hitch, and is simple to operate. This carrier is compatible with all ID.3 models except cars with the 77 kWh Pro S battery. With the Transport Hitch and fitting included, this item is available for £1,470.

James Woolfe, Accessories and Merchandise Product Manager at Volkswagen UK, said: “What I love about accessories is that you take an already stellar car like the ID.3, and then add a few carefully selected items to make it even better, and more suited to the individual customer.

“Opt for a bespoke bike carrying rack and you’ve got even more boot space free for carrying luggage on a cycling holiday, or other luggage needed for two-wheeled fun. The ID.3 is already a car that demands few-to-no compromises, and with this range of accessories it becomes even more flexible and practical. I can’t wait to share our accessories range for the ID.4 in the coming weeks, to show again how you can make a brilliant car even more appealing with well-selected equipment.”
