New Nissan LEAF 2.ZERO Launch Edition Now Available in UK

Nissan UK announced the launch PCP offer on the New LEAF 2.ZERO exclusive launch edition.

Customers looking to make the switch to all-electric, and be one of the first owners of the all-new Nissan LEAF, can benefit from a competitive contract purchase on the 2.ZERO special version. With a £5,138 customer deposit, combined with £1,000 dealer deposit contribution, monthly payments are just £339 on a 3 year/10,000 annual mileage PCP with 4.49% APR.

Those upgrading from an existing LEAF, or other Nissan model on contract purchase, are eligible for an additional £500 deposit contribution to reduce this monthly payment to £324.

Customers who purchase a LEAF 2.ZERO through eligible sales channels can also apply for the new 7kWh Home Charging Unit (worth £859 or £359 with OLEV grant) at no cost. Customers with existing home charging units who purchase a New LEAF can also receive this upgrade at no cost.

Limited to just 1,500 models, the New LEAF 2.ZERO special version is positioned between N-Connecta and the range-topping Tekna grade and is available in two colours – Spring Cloud and Pearl Black. A generous specification includes:

– stylish 17” alloy wheels
– front and rear heated black suede-effect bio-fabric seats
– automatic air conditioning
– NissanConnect EV 7” touchscreen infotainment with six speaker sound system
– Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and Intelligent Driver alertness
– Intelligent Cruise Control
– And it is the first Nissan model in Europe to be equipped with Nissan’s autonomous ProPILOT technology and e-Pedal

The all-new Nissan LEAF is the next generation of the best-selling zero-emissions electric vehicle. Embodying Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility vision, the new model has been reinvented to offer greater range (235miles (NEDC) on a single charge), dynamic design, advanced driver assistance technologies and enhanced connectivity.

The new Nissan LEAF is packed with ingenious technology, including ProPILOT advanced driver assistance system for a confident, more comfortable drive. ProPILOT uses the steering, braking and acceleration to assist the driver within single lane, low speed traffic and highway cruising scenarios. In slow moving traffic it enables the New LEAF to autonomously slowdown and stop where traffic flow ceases. It will then start to follow the car in front when the flow resumes. Also included is ProPILOT Park for fully autonomous parking.

The new Nissan LEAF’s revolutionary e-Pedal technology transforms the way people drive by letting them start, accelerate, decelerate and stop – simply by increasing or decreasing the pressure applied to the accelerator. When the accelerator is fully released, the regenerative and friction braking systems are deployed automatically, bringing the car to a complete stop and harnessing energy to recharge the battery. The car holds its position, even on steep up and downhill slopes, until the accelerator is pressed again, taking the stress out of driving like never before.

The 2.ZERO special version is priced at £26,490 including Government Grant. Cars will be delivered from the beginning of 2018.
